UnbiasedObserverParticipantIf the Celtics lose this game it is strictly Evan Turner’s fault. Two horrific turnovers when the Celtics are up four and a highly contested piss poor shot and let’s be honest the dude can’t shoot a lick. Terrible to see if this Celtics team does indeed lose this game. His fingerprints have been all over this one. Sorry, rant over.

UnbiasedObserverParticipantAnd the guy is not a bad player at all. He does alot of things well, but his lack of a jumpshot as well as his tendency to be out of control and turn the ball over can be detrimental to the Celtics.

UnbiasedObserverParticipantI didn’t say they were gonna lose, I said IF THEY DO, it’s Turner’s fault, which it is. Entirely.

BleedGreen808ParticipantJust a bad overall game for him today(he still had 17/7/6) but I’ve learned to just accept the bad that comes with Turner. He can get out of control at times and take some bad shots but he also does so much for this Celtics team. He gives them another ball handler who can play 1 through 3 on offense. Evan has had plenty of big plays in his 2 years with Boston and I’ve come to really like him as a player.

ExumInfernoParticipantAt his current price and level of play, and versatility, E Turner is a great steal.
If someone is paying him $10million next year, it may not look so good.
After everything went bad in Indiana, and it wasn’t great before that with the 76ers, his career is going well now.
He is a small forward/point guard, that can be useful. It works with Boston as Smart can’t pass too well, Bradley can’t dribble, and I Thomas would rather shoot. If Turner moves to anotehr team for lots more money, he may not have the good fit he has now.

NBAjunkie81Participantbut he was the #2 overall pick in the 2010 Draft….. And Phila’s GM Doug Collins took Turner instead of Boogie Cousins…… Sixers fans were Always going to think of Cousins & "what could have been" eveny time they see Turner…..
And if you play that forward……. the Andrew Bynum trade just 2 years later (2012)………. was an attempt to erase the sin of passing on Cousins in the 2010 NBA Draft…….
So Turner was Always going to have that hanging over his head in Phila…… Who knows what happened in Indiana but Turner might have been head Ucked & defensive from his experience in Phila…….. Sometimes losing a job is a great Attitude Adjuster………….
Looks like Boston is an excellent fit for Turner……

TRC1991ParticipantI actually really like Evan Turner. Atrocious outside shooter but he’s excellent from mid range, tough, competitive, good defender, excellent ball-handler, can create in a variety of ways
