halfdecayedParticipantHow concerned are you ? Rockets are obviously awful, so they will win anyway without him.. But there’s no way they win against the Clippers without Curry..

halfdecayedParticipantdoes any1 know what is the usual timetable for a sprained knee?

BleedGreen808ParticipantIt will all depend on if there is damage to structures around the knee. If there is it will depend which structures and how severe the damage is. You have ligaments, bones, muscle, tendons, and meniscus in or around the knee joint. Most likely injury would be to ligaments that stabilize the knee such as the MCL. The fact his knee hit the floor could also result in a bone bruise.

omphalosParticipantWould be ironic if Warriors won their title with the reigning MVP injured and Thunder win their title with reigning MVP injured.
Hope Steph heals up, you hate to see the best players get injured.

BiggysmallsParticipantNot sure they would beat the clippers, but I think they could survive a few games with them if Step was forced to miss some time. They could probably split the first two if he were out in that series.
The Clippers are good. Not so good that they’d blow the Warriors out of the water without Curry though.

CynthiaParticipantAll of those early career injury fears are coming back. If this turns out to be something severe then we may be looking at another one of those guys who was held back by injuries like Tracy McGrady, Yao Ming, Grant Hill, Brandon Roy, etc.

HitsterParticipantUntil Steph has his MRI we will not know the full extent of his injury but without him I just could not see GSW getting past the Spurs or Thunder in a conference final.
Hopefully Steph can get back sooner rather than later, if he can contribute vs Clippers or Portland. I’m sure GSW is hoping the Clippers – Portland series goes to 6 or 7 games as it gives Steph more time to recover and their players to rest.
Injuries do happen look at the Cavs last year, injuries to Irving and K-Love probably gave GSW a huge advantage then. In 2009 KG got injured and probably cost Boston a chance to retain etc.
