DondiJohnParticipantWow +18 with no points, while Thabo has -19 with no points also! He’s gonna get paid this summer just like how (not by how much) Demarre Caroll did.

BleedGreen808ParticipantJust goes to show how +/- statistic is very flawed. I like Bazemore as a player and he is going to get paid but he was probably on the floor a majority of the time with Milsap who was on fire.

BiggysmallsParticipantNice system player. People can see that as a knock if they want but it’s not meant to be. He’s carved out a big role on a good team. Not a championship team but a team that wins a lot and can potentially get to the second round.
Yeah he’ll get paid handsomely. Not sure I’d want to spend big on him just given he’s been good (not great) for one year. I think at this point he is what he is…a Danny Green type guy who will defend hard and get a team 10 points or so. He hustles and works hard and doesn’t seem like he would have a problem fitting in with any group.
Hope he stays in ATL.

TRC1991ParticipantKent has had a fantastic season and he’s kept Atlanta in a lot of games this year with his ability to put pressure on the defense and hit the open 3…
Thabo Sefolosha is the worst player in the NBA and I’m not kidding. He’s so bad. Can’t shoot, can’t defend anymore, can NOT create to save his life.

Mr. HookShotParticipantBazemore will get a nice contract, that’s for sure…
On the other hand, how does this set up Atlanta as a destination for FA’s? Under Buddenholzer they’ve shown to get the best out of players, setting them up for nice pay-days. Does that provide any leverage in their negotiations with players? Any chance a (star) player with a down year signs a one-year contract with the Hawks to raise is value (Howard? Jefferson? Noah? Jeff Green?

BuckcheeksParticipantI wish I was in the NBA and my down year was a year that I was second in the league in field goal percentage and fourth in rebounding.

Mr. HookShotParticipantIf you refer to Howard there is no denying he had a down year, or that he is over his peak. During his time in Orlando he was able to carry his team to the finals, which is something is not capable of this year to put it mildly.
