Something I haven’t done for a couple of years is to imagine the scenario of all players on their current roster playing to their peak and which team would be the strongest. This will be skewed in favour of teams with veteran rosters of course.

Miami would be insanely strong with a peak D-Wade, STAT, Bosh, Johnson backed up by Haslem at his championship winning best, Dragic, Whiteside etc.

GSW may be slighly stronger with Bogut and Iggy at their peak.

The Spurs would be scary with a peak Duncan, Manu, Parker, West, LMA plus Leonard and co. That could be a 70 plus win team IMO.

Memphis with a peak Z-Bo and Carter around Gasol, Conley and co would be strong.

The Clippers with a peak PP, Crawford to complement CP3, Griffin etc would also be competitive.

Dallas with peak Dirk, D-Will, Harris etc would be much stronger.

Chicago with D-Rose at MVP level, Pau Gasol at his best would be much stronger too.

T-Wolves with a peak KG and Prince surrounded by the current young core would be a much harder team to beat.

The Lakers with peak Kobe, DPOY level Hibbert and MWP would be a successful team too.

If I’ve missed any other teams who would be much stronger then please give your feedback.

Cavs would b good. Lebron is just really good. KLove from the Twolves days. Kyrie when it was just him on the Cavs. Marion In his prime. Tristan Thompson at his best. Mozgov this year and last year. James Jones as a knockdown shooter. Richard Jefferson in his prime. Delly in game 2 of lasts years finals all the time, that would b crazy. Mo Williams when he was a starter. Iman as a knick. JR when he is hot, if he was like that all the time that would b really scary. And Channing Frye as a big knockdown shooter

Don’t forget Houston with prime Dwight, Josh Smith and Jason Terry plus James Harden and others. Cleveland would get a boost from Mo Williams and RJ, and prime Eric Gordon and Jrue Holiday would be a nice plus for the Pels

My money will be on the Spurs all day. Prime TD/West/Aldridge with Manu, TP and KY on the perimeter will be scary. They already 60 plus wins with four of them on the downside

Thanks for the feedback guys, I hadn’t mentioned Deng for the Heat so good call by Frogman, that Heat depth chart looks insane.

Also good call about Richard Jefferson at the Cavs.

I think the strongest ever team we got via this method was the 2010-11 Celtics with Shaq, KD, PP, Ray Allen, JO, Rondo etc. Also there was a very strong Knicks team via this method with STAT, Melo, Kidd, Chandler, K-Mart plus others.

The 2006 Heat with a real peak Shaq, Lonzo, Payton, Walker, D-Wade and co would have been fun too.

Any team with Shaq after he left LA really benefits from this exercise. Prime Shaq and LeBron by itself is 2000s Laker-like. Prime Shaq and prime Grant Hill with Nash and Amar’e and prime JRich does pretty well. Even the Shaq/Kobe/Payton/Malone Lakers are stupid good.

If I remember right there would be some really good Clippers teams in this scenario, believe it or not.

but I think the Spurs would win this "peaked roster" championship because basketball is a team effort game, not an addition of individuals. With that in mind, the Spurs have the talent, the unselfishness and the best coach to beat everybody.
