….San Antonio Spurs. I cant think of a better fit and successor to Tony Parker in this years draft. I don’t think he will fall out of the first round but I really don’t see a better fit.

I would absolutely love to see what Pop could do with Ulis.

Yea that would be an amazing pick to be the one to take the throne from TP… The more I see Isaiah Thomas balling makes me think another little guard inyhe rigu system could make it… Would love if my Bulls picked him up but we might be too high in the draft to grab him that early.

Honestly, I have the Bulls making the biggest reach/kinda-sorta steal in the draft in getting Ulis. If there is a team that needs backup at the point, its the Bulls.

If the Jazz strike out going for Dellavedova, they could use depth and tenacity at that position since Exum is a little on the sensative side. I doubt they’d be too concerned if they had to reach into the 16-18 range for him.

They’re going to want someone rugged at that position, and Ulis fits the bill and actually should be a decent contributor as a rookie.

We already have 4 PG’s on our roster… Granted I HATE one of them… and then Trey Burke, I just feel bad for. (Neto is the one I hate). I think that the Jazz are good for PG for now. Mack > Dellavedova…

Spurs already have Mills.  Not sure Ulis adds anything more.  He won’t be a starter in the NBA, at his height, but from 20 to 40 in the draft he might get a team that wants a little backup depth.

Is Kyle Anderson a possible point guard too, maybe Spurs have the depth already there.  That would be fun to see, Anderson playing point guard and then Ulis comes in who is a foot shorter.  It would give the SPurs some different options.

76ers, Warriors, Nets, they have some picks where Ulis could go.  Maybe the Clippers, a backup to C Paul.

i could be wrong, but i dont think the spurs have had many pass first point guards during pops era.which is ulis best trait.

i know the spurs added guys like terry porter, damon stoudimire, antonio daniels, jauque vaughn and andre miller towarded the end of their careers.and ulis havent shown that he can consistently hit outside shots.
