The Game feels like a UNC home game, refs being a little too quick with their whistles early, watch out for some bogus Calls in favor of the Tar Heels later…
Anyway, its Jay Wright’s time, I think Nova fouls out some of the interior guys and continue to front the post…
If the jumpers stop falling for UNC its going to get ugly, like 76-72 Final Score ugly, Nova’s defense and pace will be key to a victory, screw all the NBA guys and bandwagon fans on social media…

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball Bloopers

Villanova is gambling a little too much defensively and they have gotten burned several times with giving up open 3s and lobs at the rim. I don’t expect UNC to keep shooting as well but villanova has shot well too. They are relying on a lot of contested long 2s and 3s and I think it may be tough to continue hitting them at the same pace.
I like villanovas overall game plan as they have kept Johnson relatively quiet and forced Carolina to hit 3s, but Carolina has adjusted nicely to what they are doing. Jenkins staying on the floor and out of foul trouble will be key for them in the second half.

Marcus Paige with two of the biggest plays I have seen in a championship game in a while for Jenkins to make an even better one.
What a game, my head hit the roof twice and I my vioce is gone. Will remember that final mintue for ever. Just a crazy game.

Obviously I am really dissapointed. Thought that Hicks got all ball on that block at the end, but those bang bang calls did not go our way all night. Congrats to Nova. Hell of a finish.

Kinda sucks that the last 14 seconds of that game is gonna cover up how horrible the officiating was for both teams.

Once again, and UNC fans please correct me if I’m wrong, Roy Williams got coached in circles. Did you see how the two UNC players basketball set a pick for each other? Roy Williams is the only coach in the world that would end…the SEASON with a timeout. Call a fn timeout, man. Nova calls time? CALL ANOTHER ONE after you see what set they’re in. In case nobody learned anything from 1992 ALWAYS guard the out of bounds guy.

  I actually didn’t have a problem with Roy tonight. I have been one of his biggest critics all season.
  What I did have a problem with was:
  -8 straight ticky tack foul calls on UNC in the first half.
  -An obvious mugging of Justin Jackson at the end of first half.
  -Meeks and Johnson missing chippies close to the basket.
  -Berry getting thrown off his path to the basked no call
  -Phantom foul call that sent Arcidiacano to the line once they got in the bonus, I think it was on Pinson.
  -Just go look at the replays on all 3 of Kennedy Meeks’ foul calls.
  -Paige got mugged on about 3 straight drives with no calls, one of them Villanova stopped playing because they thought a whistle would be blown.
  -Justin Jackson missing free throws down the stretch.
  -Hicks getting the SH!T mugged out of him on a layup where you could hear hand on hand contact through the TV, two plays later he makes a big clean defensive play that would have been a shot clock violation after a travel and he is called for a foul.
  That being said, Villanova played tough, made some very very very tough shots down the stretch, and they played hard and tough, and were certainly title worthy this season. Congrats to them.

    I actually agree with you. There were definitely some very questionable calls that went against UNC. They also shot themselves in the foot with their bigs inability to finish around the basket ( particularly meeks).
    That end of the half block against Jackson where villanova scored on the other end was a huge momentum builder imo. Even though Hart did make contact with the body and it could have technically been a foul, Jackson purposely tried to avoid the contact and went up soft against a smaller player.     Usually never happens in these Title Games, and BTW if you weren’t a huge UNC homer you would have seen that stadium was staunchly in the corner of the Tarheels and of the refs weren’t completely unbiased that game would have criticized by non-UNC bandwagoners…
    There were touch calls being called all game, UNC had plenty of chances and actually played a great game with Marcus Paige carrying them all night, Brice Johnson wasnt aggressive enough, they avoided entry passes into the post and Nova controlled the shots they took, making the Tarheels have to hit 3 after 3 worked to perfection…
    Now to big shot, Kris Jenkins knocked down that shot and a million Tarheel fans cried themselves to sleep, serves half of uou right for jumping on that hypetrain…Lol, if you’re not even from North Carolina…
    We partied all night in the Philadelphia suburbs, most of us are calling out of work today, and It definitely sounds like you and several other front runners are Butt Hurt every call didn’t go your way, you were probably watching that biased ass telecast on TNT smh, listening to a UNC homer cry over every call was priceless and annoying, thank God TBS actually had some objective commentators…
    Anyway,I said this a week before the big game, and I’ll continue to say this, Jay Wright is a Top 5 Coach in The NCAA, he’s not living off former championships and Top 5 recruitment classes unlike some other leeches in the coaching ranks…
