With the 3rd pick in the Ultimate NBA Re-Draft, the Memphis Grizzlies select… Kareem Abdul-Jabbar out of UCLA!!!
The Results:
Kareem: 7
Bird: 5
Lebron and Kobe: 2
Shaq: 1
Draft Order so far:
1. Michael Jordan – LA Clippers
2. Magic Johnson – Minnesota Timberwolves
3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar – Memphis Grizzlies
Now… We are going to do a complete draft. Basically, we will draft Starting 5’s for each NBA Team, and then maybe later we’ll compare them. (Depends on how many people are actually still interested in the game by the end of Round 5)
Anyways…
The Brooklyn Nets are now on the clock…

I’m hoping some more ppl vote on these, it could be really interesting with more forum feedback. If we’re only getting 15 votes for the #3 selection, doesn’t bode too well for the later rounds.

Interesting pick seriously considered Shaq, Bird, LeBron, Tim Duncan, Hakeem,Chamberlain but all teams need a great defensive anchor so I’m going for Bill Russell.

I don’t think shaq is the 4th best by any means. We are not ranking the best players ever.
Lebron, bird, and others are clearly better. It’s just he was so unstoppable in the post, and to build that with shooters around him i think is more effective than great perimeter players. That being said Jordan is the GOAT and Magic is the greatest leader ever, but other than that, i truly think you would win more by going inside out when you talk about Shaq or Wilt, than a great perimeter player..
Ah.. everyone has their own opinions tho…
