     What are everyone’s thoughts on him? Is he an NBA player?

    Good athlete and good perimeter shooter. Can get to the basket and finishes pretty well through contact. Pretty nice all-around offensive game. Downsides are he is slightly undersized for the 2 guard position in the NBA and has a tendency to get a bit reckless with his shot selection and force the issue at times.

    I would compare him to von wafer. While that may not seem like very high praise, wafer was a former second rounder who had several stints in the league. The one year he got consistent mins for Houston, he was actually a pretty valuable scorer off the bench. I think McClellan has the potential to be a similar type player (although hopefully has a longer career) and is definitely worth a look in the second round.

    I feel he’s one of those guys who could probably stick in the league as an end of the bench guard, but will most likely end up overseas as a more featured player.

    A lot of these well rounded, 4 year shooting guards end up going this route, but I certainly think he could be worth a mid-late 2nd round pick. It will probably just be up to him whether he wants to grind it out in the D-League/bottom couple of roster spots for a few years, or make more money in Europe.
