Anton123ParticipantJames Hardn was good
I don’t understand what Westbrook is doing there he is times better than everyone
BJ Mullens was consistent and hot in the last game
Tyler and Andersen have been great
Speights has been good in one game, crap in two
Jrue Holiday is crap!

llperezAndersen was a steal as a throw in for the Carter trade. Hansbrough knocking down threes surprises me. And I thnk Holiday has gotten better and more comfortable each game. Not sure I would call 12 points on 6 shots with 4 boards and 4 assits crap.

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantPutting crappy numbers in a summer league game. What kind of numbers is he going to put him when he face real challenges?

llperezanybody who was expecting him to contibute much as a rookie is foolish. He was drafted for his potential. Give him 3 more years of college and then compare him to lawson coming out this year.

Tha King2121ParticipantAre you saying that Jrue Holiday is better than Ty Lawson?
I dont think so…

llperezim saying he has more potential then lawson. I do believe in 5 years, jrue will be the better player. From the combination of what i have seen plus what i have heard scouts say, Lawson is great from end to end, but in half court going latterly trying to cross guys over, he is subpar. Holiday is actually very good at getting into the lane by crossing guys over. Also, Lawson has low trajectory on his outside shot which is fine when left open, but if someone is on him, he will struggle getting it off. I think lawson was a very solid pick and should do fine as a backup or part time starter. But when you draft players, you need to look at the upside and take risks if you feel a player can devleop over time.
Remember jrue just turned 19 years old. And from what i’ve seen from him in summer play, he has gotten into the lane at will, easily broken down pressure getting it over half court, and played above average d. His problems are that he does’nt always make the best decision once he get’s into the lane, and he does’nt really run the point naturally yet. But give himsome time before you throw him aside. Sixer fans seem to hate on him more then anyone on here.
