    Those late games capped off what might have been the craziest day in tournament history. It was just a bonus that I picked Northern Iowa and St. Joes on my bracket.

     Only half court buzzer beater to win a Tournament game that I can remember.  

    I have read that US Reed on Arkansas hit a half court shot to win a Tourney game way back in the 70’s.

    Any others?

       Can we give half a point to Indianapolis native Gordon Hayward and his in and out half court buzzer beater against Duke in the finals… in Indianapolis for Butler…From Indianapolis? If that had gone in, I mean, Got D@mn!!!!!!

     Hayward’s shot nearly went in.  

    The UNI shot might be one of the few successful halfcourt game winning heaves in NCAA tournament history.
