My money says Sheldon McClellan’s pre-draft workouts get him into the back end of the first round, especially if he has a good tournament. He’s a really versatile, smooth scorer, can create opportunities for others, and plays good defense. He reminds me of a slightly smaller DeMar DeRozan. The way he runs, jumps, dribbles, and shoots is actually a little bit D. Wade-esque; not to make that comparison with regard to ability, but just in gait and body control.

Really looking forward to a matchup with Arizona’s backcourt to see how he fares against them.

Easily one of the most underrated players in the nation. Athleticism is truly through the roof. He’s a baller. He doesn’t really have that killer mentality, but he’s a complete monster in the open floor

I’m not a huge fan of McClellan, I don’t think he’s a very good playmaker in the PnR nor does he finish at the rim very well. He’s already 23, and his shooting has been a bit all over the map in terms of percentages from the college three. This year it’s up but in the past its been as low as 27%. Can he extend his range to the NBA three?
