 He has several things working against him. His size will undoubtedly hurt his stock with scouts, and he is not exceptionally strong or athletic like several other undersized pgs who came before him. 

However, the guy is a straight up warrior on the court and knows how to run a team as well as or better than any player in this draft. I wouldn’t doubt his ability to find his way onto an NBA roster and eventually carve out a nice career as a back up pg. Whether he gets drafted or not is another story but I really couldn’t see him improving his stock much by staying another year. The concerns about his size will always be there.

I thought he was their best pg last year, so I’m not really surprised at the year he is having. He also has no reason to stay if his goal is to play in the NBA. Even if his numbers go up his stock won’t improve. He’s not getting any taller and Cal probably wants him to move on.

I think someone will take a chance on him, but not sure if he will stick. We’re talking about a league where you’re facing Curry, Westbrook, Wall, Paul, Lowry and even guys like Dragic that are not only taller, but stronger and aggressive.

I can’t actually believe that Tyler Ulis is getting the draft attention that he is when there happens to be another 5’9” guard who is 15x as good and is considered a fringe 2nd round pick (Kay Felder)
