 I think if OKC and cleveland can hold on and add a player, like a 3 and D wing for the thunder and a consistant center for the cavs, they still are an injury away from a championship next year. Rockets probably have to change something up, they are a player or two and a leader away from contending for a championship. I think the clippers are kind of stuck, they can’t really improve their team much but they are still really good, I would give it at least another year or two and then go full rebuild if nothing works out.

I still think back to one of the rudest things I have seen in the NBA. When Houston were trying to court Melonoma, they had big billboards of melo in a no7 Houston Rockets Jersey. Jeremy Lin was playing and wearing no7 at the time. Talk about disrespectful….

 I agree with 377 about the Rockets…as Cuban said last year, that’s just not a very good team out there, ever since they let Parsons go, trying (and failing) to find that 3rd star. I don’t think this summer will be any different.

As long as LeBron is there, Cavs are contenders and I don’t see any major shakeup. There are questions about the chemistry between the Big 3 but I think it all comes to place by the time the playoffs roll around.

Chris Paul has good two years (maybe more) of top basketball ahead of him and a nice core in place with Griffin, Jordan and Redick. If only they could find some additional depth, which is not impossible with the spiking cap, I think they’re ready to seriously make a run at the Larry O’Brien trophy. I think they give the Dubs a run for their money in the 2nd round this year.

I think that the years of frustration after trading Harden and not making the Finals since 2012 eventually prevail and Durant leaves after a 2nd round exit.
