I believe the NBA is in great hands given the past two NBA drafts that are giving us superstar type of players. These past two NBA drafts have been off the charts with the talent level and at the top of both drafts gives you some high level players. While in the rest of the draft gives you quality players. So, when Kobe, LeBron, Carmelo, DWade, etc… retires, the NBA will be in outstanding hands to replace them.

In the 2014 class it looks like Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker (lately) looks like both will be superstar calibar players in the future. While you have players like Aaron Gordan, Julius Randle, Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson, Nikola Jokic, Doug McD and Zach LaVine having a chance to be great players. The you have the Dario Saric, Dante Exum, and Joel Embiid that also have a chance to be great players/superstars when they reach the NBA level/return from injury. I believe Exum can be in the class of Jabari and Andrew Wiggins.

In the 2015 class you have Karl-Anthony Towns, Kristaps Porizingis, Jahlil Okafor, and D’angelo Russell have a chance to all become superstar NBA players. You have guys like Justise Winslow, Devin Booker, Myles Turner, Bobby Portis, and Stanley Johnson look like they will all become great players.

This is the best 2 year draft class I remember and they have a chance to both have great respective draft classes that are filled with great NBA players. The you have the 2017 draft when they also have a chance to become a great draft, might be even better than the previous two. They have Harry Giles, Jayson Tatum, Josh Jackson, Markelle Fultz, Lonzo Ball, Malik Monk, Dennis Smith, and plenty more outstanding prospects in that draft.

The NBA is in great hands once the greats retire.

Dandre Ayton looks to be one of the best big man prospects, if not the best big man prospect of the past decade.  I’m including Towns, Davis, Okafor, Oden and all the rest.

He looks like a prototypical 5 man in todays game.  Can shoot a little bit, great lateral quickness, great standing reach, great wingspan, solid frame, great vertical, competitive.  He literally checks every box.  I have him ahead of both Towns and Davis at their same ages.

Can’t wait to see how his game rounds out, but if he stays healthy, in my opinion he’s the most intriguing prospect since LBJ.
