valentineProject the Rookie Stats for next years draft class.
It’s easy to criticise since there’s so many unknowns so no-one’s handing out trophies for smug responses. Provide a best case (handing over the keys) or worst case (role player on a contender) disclaimer if you want.
Ben Simmons: 18ppg 8 rpg 5apg 45%fg 28%3pt 4tos 36mpg (with keys)
Brandon Ingram: 16ppg, 40%fg, 4 rebs, 35% 3pt, 30mpg (lakers type scenario)
Jacob Poeltl: 10ppg, 8rpg, 50% fg, 28mpg, 1.8bpg, lots of fouls
Jamal Murray: 12ppg, 2apg, 39%fg, 1.8 3pm, 37% 3pt, 28mpg, 2.8to
Buddy Hield: 15ppg, 44% fg, 38% 3pt, 2.2 3ptm, 32mpg
Skal Labissiere: 2.0ppg, 41% fg, 1.2rpg, 2.5fouls, 6mpg, spending some time in D-league.
Who are some others youd like to introduce…or feel free to rip my projections to shreds.

r377ParticipantIf Skal comes out I think he would be lucky to play 20 nba games in his first season. I think he goes straight to d-league and stays there most of the season….

Kokayne_DawkinzParticipantSkal actually playing pretty well right now against Florida. He just flashes serious skill and will be a big time player down the line. I do agree however he’s going to struggle next year

losnopesosParticipantIf Skal were to go to the league this year, he might be the only center in the history of the NBA to never record a rebound.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantIt would be a huge stretch for Simmons to even shoot 28% from the NBA 3 next season. He has barely taken a shot from outside 15 feet this year.
I would hold off on making projections about stats until guys actually get drafted and you see where they are going to play. A lot of factors, such as how much a guy plays and how much of a leash they are given, are highly circumstantial.

BiggysmallsParticipantSkal vs Florida tonight…Florida’s center had a career night. Not trolling but can we stop reaching for the slightest thing from a guy who hasn’t been good? Doesn’t mean he won’t get there because he might. But let’s table Skal as an NBAer for for 8 months.
Here’s my guess
Simmons – on a bad team – 16 ppg, 7 rpg, 3.5 apg, 1.2/1 assist/turnover
Ingram – on a slightly less bad team – 14.5 ppg, 4 rpg, 1.9 apg, 43% FG, 36% 3 pt
Dunn – on a 25ish win team – 13.5 ppg, 4 rpg, 5.5 apg, 3 to pg
Brown – on a similar team – 12 ppg, 4 rpg, 1.5 apg
Hield – on a surprise playoff contending team – 9.5 ppg, 2 rpg, 1 apg, 38 % 3 pt, off the bench 3 n D guy

DrivingDownTheStreetinmy64Had to laugh at the thought of buddy hield averaging 15 points in his rookie year!!!!! hahahaha!!! According to info from the database in my mine, he will average 6 points and be traded midway through his rookie year!!!
