Ty just got bought out by the Rockets.

So with that, where do you guys see his next landing spot? I really don’t know who would take him but he will for sure get picked up by a team. Who do you guys think will pick him up? Ill also say I’m not sure it’s just limited to winning teams either.  Thoughts?

The Knicks and the Bucks have nothing to lose. Especially the Knicks. Worst case scenario is he does not work out. Best case scenario its a perfect fit and he pushes your team to a playoff spot. With that being said the Bucks own their pick this year so it would be risky to try and contend. The Knicks are on a downward spiral and at playing worse than they have all year. Its hard to imagine the Knicks getting worse by adding Ty and even if they improve to finish 9th or 10th in the East it helps them give the Raptors a lower pick.

Seems like the Knicks, Nets, and Bucks would all be good options if he’s looking for lots of playing time.  Having said that, Lawson doesn’t seem like the prototypical PG for the triangle that Rambis is running and with things finally clicking in Milwaukee with Giannis and Middleton as the main creators, adding Lawson to the mix could throw things off again.

I believe Lawson said prior to the deadline that the Knicks and Bucks were his top 2 choices though.

To be effective, Lawson needs to operate in a fast-paced system where he has the ball in his hands a lot. From that perspective, the Knicks would seem to be a terrible fit. It would be a very low risk move go pick him up for the rest of the season though.

Harden looks like he’s on the fast track to becoming the NBA’s new "Villian"

Wanted the coach fired, wanted the team’s second best player traded, called all his teammates "just role players", can’t adapt in the slightest fashion to help what was a very good point guard in Denver fit in at all.

    What a turd.

My life will forever be indebted to Ty for 2009 championship.  Hope he can get back to being this player with another change of scenery:

Hasn’t he already played well with Aflalo and Anthony? Proven chemistry surely can’t hurt. Surely being comfortable with your team mates is a good start to adapting to a different style of playmaking. Maybe after playing with Howard and Harden he’d be happy to adapt. Along with that who else would be able to offer him the minutes. Philly maybe but they haven’t yet shown that they want to add veterans yet.

For some reason i think J Kidd can get the best out of Ty. I think the Bucks want to push the pace and he is a better fit than Micheal Carter Williams..although he is a streaky shooter he can hit the open J and create drive and dump oppurtinitys for Giannis and Jabari.

the jazz, they could use an experienced player and it should ensure they make the play offs. They are using nato and mack and occasionally hood and hayward to run their offense.
