Not that I plan on pulling a Tanya Harding or anything, but of the four or five title contenders, which teams are most dependent on one player staying healthy?

Injuries are what make sports so unpredictable. The Cavs lost two of their best three players during the playoffs last year. They are also 2-13 without LeBron over the past two years.

OKC has generally been pretty good with only one of their best two players out, but failed to reach the playoffs without both of them.

What are the chances that all of the following players all remain healthy and miss no significant time? Curry, Kawhi, Durant, Westbrook, LeBron.

Last year, much was made of the NBA’s best and brightest being on the shelf: Kyrie, Love, Westbrook, Durant, Bosh, etc. Will it be a topic again during this year’s stretch run, or a non-factor?

You take out any teams best player and their make up totally changes! So “no”, the Dubs wouldn’t win another ring without the MVP!

IMO out of Cleveland, SA, GS and OKC the Spurs are the only team that would still be able to beat the other elite teams in a seven game series without their best player.

Kawhi is their best player.  And to be fair San Antonio is not beating Cleveland, GS or OKC without him.
