Fredette About ItParticipantSuns finally trade the disgruntled Keiff Morris to Wiz for Kris Humphries, Dejaun Blair and a protected first rounder.. Hopefully Keiff doesnt cause too much problems with this nice young core of Wall, Beal, Porter, Oubre and Gortat..

HitsterParticipantAs a Suns fan, I’ll take extra draft picks for a disgruntled player anyday. Morris gives Washington a nice frontcourt option so deal could be right move for all parties concerned.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantWashington has been hit as hard as anyone by injuries, but they could bounce back next year in a big way. I get why Markieff Morris got upset with the Suns organization. He took an extension that was probably a bit of a discount because they were also extending Marcus. It is a fresh start in Washington with a talented team that came to terms with needing an heir to Nene.

reinie13_phxParticipantAs a suns fan, I couldn’t be more happy with the trade. I for sure wasn’t expecting to get a first round pick for Kieff, maybe just some expiring contracts to save money for free agency. The suns now have 3 first round picks and a lot of Cap room this summer. Hoping they can package a deal to either move up in the draft and maybe have two Top 10 picks would be nice, or maybe even trade Knight or Bledsoe, because now with the emergence of Devin Booker there is no need for two injury and turnover prone PG’s. Excited about the deal as its more than I could’ve asked for. He is now Washington’s problem and he is out the suns locker room. A huge sigh of relief for both parties. Not saying Were going to suddenly turn the season around, no not by any stretch, its just now we can focus on developing young talent without any negativity surrounding the bench and locker room. I can’t begin to tell how hard its been to cheer for this team this year. A die hard fan, I even have a tattoo of the logo. So yes, we can finally start moving in the right direction. Thank you so much Suns for moving that A**hole and the ultimate crybaby.

bmac697ParticipantI like the trade for both parties works out and I agree Suns should look to move one of their Pgs as like you said booker is coming into his own. But I think Morris and Davis are a tie for the ultimate crybaby, each for different reasons lol.

mamadouParticipantLast time the suns traded a player for a 1st rounder from Washington, it worked really well for both teams….

Chilbert arenasParticipantNote that the Suns got a first round pick that they will most likely keep this year for someone who has pending fellony charges. That’s a pretty good deal for them. And Wiz get the stretch 4 they’ve been going after for a while now. Love the deal.
I’m a Suns fan so I’d like to fantasize about getting Valentine or Wayne Seldon, Levert, or Bacon. I love athletic versatility on the wing for them.

ExumInfernoParticipantPhoenix should be happy, someone they did not want to have around got them a first round pick.
Humphries is not a bad player, and is inexpensive too, they might be able to get some second rounders for him in the offseason or keep him for depth.
Not sure if this keeps Durant away from Washington compared to having the extra power forwards and pick, it might. If he went to the Wizards he might have to play most of his minutes at power forward, which would not be fun for him on defense all the time.
Porter and Oubre are probably better than Morris too.
Morris shoots 32% from long range, for his career, but Humphries was a better shooter from 3 this season.

ChicagoCaseyParticipantI don’t believe getting Keef Morris will hurt the Wizards chances at Kevin Durant. Keef Morris is a power forward and Kevin Durant is a small forward. I don’t know why you actually believe Kevin Durant would be scared off by the fact that the Wizards have Otto Porter and Kelly Oubre. KD can go to any team and start.
