The deadline is approaching, and it seems every news publication is cashing in with trade rumors. Some of them have substance, yet I suspect many of them are total horse $hit. Fortunately…I’ve developed a BS-Meter that we can use to accurately examine each rumor.
The scale is as follows
1) Total BS (Bill Clinton "I did not have sexual relations with that woman")
2) Probably BS (Lance Armstrong "I can emphatically say I am not on drugs")
3) Maybe BS/Maybe Not (C&C Music Factory "things that make you go hmmm")
4) Decent Possibility (Lloyd Christmas "So you mean there’s a chance!)
5) The Truth (Paul Pierce "I called game!")

So list your trade rumor and let the draftnet community decide where it ranks on the BS-Meter!

2.rumors have the kings about to ship yet another of their former lottery picks outta town.they’re ready to part ways with ben mclemore.

  1) C&C music factory – I like the connection that leads to the source…but Im not sold that Memphis is really ready to wheel and deal just yet. Is it a fair trade…hmmmmm. I like McGary but Lee is a valued 3&D guy so might need to throw in something to sweeten the dealm
  2) I call game! Its Sacramento and they love to deal young talented players. Theyre so willing to trade that it doesnt even bother them that they keep coming out as losers.

when is the last trade deadline deal that involved any conference leaders like cleveland that was anything besides role players or cap clearing.? i can’t think of any. kevin love rumors are 1 on bs meter. so are the shumpert rumors for that matter although that would be a 2 on the meter.

  This one makes me go hmmm… I can see why it was denied, but it’s a heck of an offer. Gordon fits the high flying mould of Griffin who he would replace. Vucevic is a bit redundant after Jordan, but he can shoot free throws down the stretch. Interesting trade offer if true.
