     The Boston Celtics might be in the most favorable position in the NBA right now.

     

      They’ve won 8 out of their last 9 games. I believe they are 3rd or 4th in the East and will likely get a top 3 pick the next 3 years for how bad the Nets are. They already have a top 5 coach who is KILLING it. And a bright future with some very talented and high upside kids that will grow together. A few young studs via the Nets in the draft. Maybe pull a trade for Demarcus Cousins. So many options for Danny Ainge and the Celtics there is more than one way to become contenders in the next two or three years.

    Danny Ainge should win executive of the year.

    While I wouldn’t argue against Pop, I can’t imagine Stevens being behind anyone else. The guy is a basketball savant. Really hope the Cs get the #1 pick just to see what he can do with probably a franchsie player in Simmons.
