He’s been the best PG in the East over the course this season, and probably the 4th best in the league after Curry, Westbrook and CP3. Is he a better player right now than Wall & Irving? Maybe, maybe not. But he will continue to be underrated given his large body of inferior work throughout his career. The guy has worked so hard on his game and now his body, and he’s become the heart, soul & best player on a top 5-6 NBA team. The Raps need more to take the next step to contention, but Lowry is the #1 reason they’ve progressed to where they are.

Curry and Westbrook are the top two. And then it’s a dog fight between CP3, Wall, Lillard, Lowry, and a healthy Kyrie.

I don’t think you can have Lillard in that second tier because of his defense. Wall, Paul, and Lowry are all really good offensive point guards, but they are also really good defensive point guards.

Lillard’s DRPM is -3.19. His defensive rating is 106.6. He averages less than 1 steal per game.

For referrence, Isaiah Thomas is -2.37, 100.6, and just over 1 steal per game.

I think Lillard is the top of the third tier. Something like:

Westbrook and Curry in no particular order.

Wall, Lowry, and Paul in no particular order.

Lillard, Conley, and Healthy Irving in no particular order.

Bledsoe, Jackson, Thomas, and Walker in no particular order.

I like your list with the exception of Conley.

Mike Conley is a good player but is way too limited offensively to be in the same category as Lillard and Irving.

I understand your opinion, but disagree. The game is half defense, half offense. Conley may not be as dynamic as Irving or Lillard, but he is that much better of a defender to be put in the same category as them.
