eXKaliberParticipantDude has been balling all season in the Pac-12 but I’m shocked to see him at #10 on the latest mock. I live in the Seattle area (RIP Sonics) so I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about him potentially being 1 and done which to me seems ridiculous. He has a TON of potential but another year in the weight room and putting in work in the summer could benefit him tremendously.
Being so close to the situation I feel like I might not be seeing the big picture. Does anyone agree with him being slotted at 10 on the mock?

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantHe has all the tools to be the next Paul George, thats who he reminds me of. So talented, Seattle kid.. Jamal Crawford is his mentor and he is close to Nate Rob, Lavine, B Roy and Wroten so he has the close NBA mentors to look up to. He has been hooping and I think top 10 is where he will go. I do think he should come back for a year with Fulz coming in next year. Murray needs to add weight, but PG was skinny in college and still is so Murray just needs about 10 to 15 pounds.

For_Never_EverParticipantHe doesn’t have the tools to be next Paul George. PG-13 is 6’8ft, and an A class athlete with a 7ft wing spand.

Miko4rm206ParticipantYea Dejounte aint goin nowhere with Markelle coming next season. He already said he wanted to bring UW back to a perennial Pac 12 dominance. Big shout out to Lorenzo Romar to attract mid/high level Guards and Develop them and add Dejounte to the list. He has literally become 1 of the best 2 way guards in the country as a Freshhman. His rebounding, playmaking, ability to slash, and athleticism is really above par from the two guard position. And theres really not that many holes in his game. Yea he can add weight and muscle but he is a really intruiging prospect. I see a little of Tony Wroten, Jamaal Crawford and Brandon Roy in his game.

holefillers1ParticipantI posted last week that Jamal wasn’t going to be the best Murray in the draft. Book it fellas. One more feather in my orange hat.

For_Never_EverParticipantThe players he is most comparable to me is Lance Stephenson and Jeremy Lamb. That isn’t a knock because these two guys have the talent to be stars in the league. It’s just their mentality it seems doesn’t add up to the talent. I’m not saying that is the case with Murray, but his physical attributes and game resemble these two.

TRC1991ParticipantHe’s like Jamal Crawford with the ability to actually pass and get to the rim

GBeeParticipantI don’t get it really. It’s like whoever is in charge of compiling this site’s mock is craving for 1 and done’s, hence the Dejounte, Zimmerman and Deyonta’s in their lotto. Taking him in the lottery would be a mistake. Physically he’s very immature. His game is immature as well. If there’s one thing that I’ve learned about prospects in recent years, lack of strength and having a weak build is a huge detriment on the wing if the player isn’t a knock down shooter. His greatest attribute as a player, his driving ability, would be negated by his super weak frame. If he declares, I don’t see him contributing for years.
