According to Woj, David Blatt has been fired. Really didn’t see this coming with the Cavs sitting at first in the East. Where do they go from here?

lol it was expected, it should have happened earlier really, but their blowout loss to GS is what triggered this IMO. Ty Lue is taking over and accepted a 2 year deal for the headcoach position.. I thought they could have gotten a better coach but I dont really know him so..

  Tyronne Lue played PG for his NBA career mostly as a third string and for what seemed like ever he was that veteran source that always cracked team’s rosters due to his leadership qualities. He seemed destined to be an NBA coach yet I didn’t think his personality was eccintric enough to be a head coach. LeBron seems to be in control of every facet of this team now.

  Tyronne Lue played PG for his NBA career mostly as a third string and for what seemed like ever he was that veteran source that always cracked team’s rosters due to his leadership qualities. from my couch – I can’t imagine what it was like in the Locker Room…… Blatt is a well respected head coach in Europe….. Had Lebron stayed in Miami or signed w/ another team….. & had the Cavs taken Wiggins or Embiid w/ that #1 pick…… And they moved forward building a young team around a core of Kyrie Irving, Tristan Thompson & Wiggins…… Blatt prob would have been a great hire b/c he could Grow with the young team…….
But from the very beginning…… It felt like Blatt was uncomfortable & did not fit it on that team…… What do people think about Tyron Lue??? ….. That is a very tough situation to put a young, brand new coach into….. I think Clev should put a veteran former head coach w/ Lue as his assistant….

Someone needs to send out the bat-signal to help restore some order.

I’m not a Cavs fan, but I was kind of pulling for the city to finally get a title and I thought they had a good shot even if they had to go through the Warriors or the Spurs. I think you would have to be crazy to bet against a healthy Cavs team not making it to the finals again because there is just too much talent.It really sucks for Blatt because he was put in an extremely tough situation – win a championship. Lets see how they respond now with Lue as the coach.

  What? That was Blatts problem, Lebron called plays took himself in and out of plays. No respect for Blatt. Lebron will be glad to trust Lue more. It takes some pressure of himself.

1/3rd of all NBA players are Foreigners, Blatt was the only Head coach not from the U.S. seems a little unrepersenative to me.
