Hey the Sixers aren’t in that bad a shape, they just need a healthy Embiid, some cable ties and a hypnotist to sign KD and Conley, and bingo! We have a playoff team.
PF Jahlil Okafor – Dario Saric
SF Kevin Durant – Jerami Grant
C Joel Embiid – Nerlens Noel
2G Buddy Hield (via draft) – Robert Covington
PG Mike Conley – Ish Smith
In all seriousness, do you think any FAs would even consider Philly at this point?
At minimum they have Jah and draft picks, surely they’d have to get some consideration. They could not get any worse from here.. can they?

    Faithnomuz, I just re-read my post and I guess it reads pretty harshly… lol. Sorry, it’s nothing personal really. I have been trolling this site for years before I finally registered so I actually have read what seems like hundreds of Philly/Joel Embiid/tank for draft pick threads. Please accept my apology as I really didn’t mean anything toward you, more just lamenting the fact that those topics get repeatedly posted over, and over, again.

      Alls cool Illadelph, there is a lot of hate on the site and negging people relentlessly for expressing their opinions and ideas. This isn’t North Korea. If someone wants to write about something, everyone should be able to, despite the trash people can come up with (especially me).
      The one exception is the motherfckers selling CVVs and credit card numbers, spamming us all. Fck them all.
      I encourage every user to imagine how pssed you would be to see your own digits up there, so to go hard in unleashing as much abuse as possible and sending all their details to every cyber crime unit you can find.

I don’t know if the dude was making a mockery of Sixers posts…..but that was retarded.
If you’re going to post something….at least let it be thoughtful.
But yeah, we all get it….Okafor D suspect. Noel O suspect. Embiid hasn’t played in a while. This year we get 2 and 4.
I hope NO jumps up and grabs the first pick and takes Ben Simmons.
2 to us and we get INgram
3 to Boston who takes Jaylen Brown
4 to us and we take either Bender, Murray, or Dunn (who i’m weary of since he can’t shoot).

  Has there ever been a situation like this? Where both Laker fans and 76er fans hang in the balance on what will essentially come down to a coin flip to see who gets the pick? Normally picks that change hands, or protected picks aren’t in the top 5. I think this is quite a unique situation for anybody, let alone us current bottom feeder teams.
  The draft lotto this year will be absolute must watch.
  I can’t think of anything that would make me hate the 76ers more than watching the Lakers hand over that pick.

    I can’t beleive how quickly anti-Simmons I’ve become. I hate that most of his scoring comes within 8 feet, thats exactly not what the Sixers need. He’d be much better fit on the Lakers and run n gun after they got rid of Scott.
    
    If we do end up with 1 and end up with Simmons….I guess it woudn’t be hte worst thing in the world.
    But if you get 1 and we get 2, I’ll give you a handshake and move on and pick up the hating in summer league. And I’ll hate HARD on Randle Russell and Simmons. Just because…

The injuries alone make it unlikely Embiid will ever be a force.
How many 7 footers come back from that type of injury with any explosiveness. I cant think of any?

For all we know it’s like saying "smart Beasley."slim Eddy Curry." or All Defensive James HArden".
Dont’t plan for it or count on it.
But yes roster looks all right if things go well. They need an old winning head to teach these kids hunger and remind them that the point of playing a team sport is to have fun tohether and win.

  is not smart Beaseley or slim Eddy Curry. Eddy Curry never had much talent to begin with. And Beaseley is jsut an idiot. Intelligence is something you can learn or adapt, it was more life choices for him. Its only life choices for Embiid to the point of drinking Shirley Temples, a drink I happen to enjoy a lot too, and Africans especially like that sweet stuff. Anyway, he’s a growing boy he shoudln’t be drinking soda, lol, but you can’t do anything about bone structure.
  I woudln’t say bone structure and life choices like Beaseley, are similar at all. Beaseley was even on the Heat, has had so many chances to play, he just sucks. Embiid, if healthy, will be a perennial all star.
