Position wise you should switch Simmons and Lawson. Simmons is a 3 at the NBA level while Lawson is a 4.

Denzel Valentine should be wayy higher on this list. 3 or 4. He’s a legit Klay Thompson , Devin Booker type building block with a splash of Danny Green’s versatility

Denzel Valentine has the same problems of Kyle Anderson: physical limitations. His motor is not good enough to succeed in the next level. His best scenario is to become a very good sixth man. I have to say I love both (Denzel and Kyle). He would be so great in Europe…

Gbinije would be more valuable as a PG, no? He’s shown the ability to play the position.

Personally, I don’t see him as being quick/athletic enough to keep up with PGs in the NBA, and he isn’t much as a creator.  For Syracuse, he’s simply the guy that has the ball in his hands the most, so therefore, he picks up the occasional assist.  He appears to be in position to get drafted at the end of the 2nd round at this point, but I don’t envision him amounting to much, and I can’t see any way in which he plays as a PG in the NBA.  His best hope is to continue developing his 3 point shot (which has completely fallen off over the past 7 or 8 games) and try to turn himself into a 3 and D guy.

As a fellow Syracuse fan I have not often agreed with your opinions on here throughout the years lol.

What exactly do you disagree with in this particular post?  Like I said, it was just my personal opinion; I’m curious how other people see Gbinije but I just don’t see an NBA PG when I watch him play.  He’s not a particularly strong ball-handler or creator even at the college level, much less at the NBA level.

Also, what have I said in the past that you disagreed with?  I’m honestly not sure what exactly I’ve said regarding Syracuse here in the past.  The only things that I know I’ve said are:

          1. I think MCW can still be a solid PG in the NBA.

          2. I think Gbinije is a 2nd round prospect at best, and while he’s a good passer for a SF, I can’t envision him being able to play or defend PGs in the NBA.

          3. McCullough has a lot of potential but I would bet against him ever reaching it.

          4. I think Christmas can stick on an NBA roster somewhere and I’m rooting for him a lot.

What exactly have I said in regards to Syracuse that I’m wrong about?

Pretty good, thanks for putting that together. No Caris LeVert though? I know he’s a senior but he’s good (I have him as a top 20 player overall) and he’s only a year older than freshman Dwayne Bacon.

What do y’all think about Cat Barber. Other than him being a little small he seems like he could be solid

For the Sixers from among the listed these are the only guys I’d want:

    PG:  Murray, Dunn, Trier

SG: Kormaz, Bacon, Newman, Valentine (Selden blows hard).

SF: Ingram, Jaylen Brown, Justin Jackson

    PF:  Simmons, Bender, Ellenson

C: None (thoguh I did like Nnoko from Clemson)

If somehow we snag 4 of these 13, I’m a happy man.

I really like Xavier Rathan Mayes, not sure if you can slip him into that top 10, but certainly at this point I think he does everything Malik Newmann does but better.

Still no Khalil Felder as a top 10 point guard? Alright, the disrespect is real.

Skal in front of Diamond Stone???  It is mind-boggling to me that as bad as Skal has been, people are still talking about him as a lottery pick.  I know we’ve had many debates on him oin this site and I don’t want to start another one.  If Skal guarded Diamond in the post for a game, he’d foul out in about 5 minutes.

Dean Wade is a 4 year guy for sure, not even close to my top 10 list for 2016. He’s got some potential is a drive/shoot perimeter threat. He’s got a nice first step, and good handle for a 6’9” guy paired with a nice shooting touch, but he’s physically immature, and a guy with average length and athletic ability.

He needs a lot more in his bag of tricks to be successful at the NBA level. He’s very similar to Perry Ellis as a freshman in terms of physical maturity. Not rail thin, but not very explosive, and his athletic potential with real work in the weight room is above average.

I feel like he has 2nd round potential after a couple years of development at the NCAA level, but he’s very far away from having NBA appeal IMO. Probably a very accomplished NCAA player when all is said and done, especially at K-State, where he’ll get lots of burn, and will be developed as a key player offensively. Really, I think he’s quite a bit like Perry Ellis in terms their freshman years, and outlook (though Perry killed it in the weight room, and reaped the benefits, not everyone has that kind of athletic trajectory).

I’m hoping some contender at the end of the first round falls in love with Ulis. Obviously his size is what keeps his stock down but look at Isiah Thomas, dudes been balling.
