BallBeenLifeParticipantWhat are your thoughts on Kay Felder? The Oakland PG is carrying his team averaging 26 points & 9 assists a night, The more I watch him the more he reminds me of Isaiah Thomas back when he played at Washington. Both are undersized at 5’9 and happen to be leftys.
Felder is a great scorer that can make plays not just for himself (off the dribble), but can create opportunities for his teammates as well (in transition, in P&R, and drive & kick situations). Even though he lacks the ideal size for an NBA PG, he’s shifty and is able to penetrate/attack the basket while not shying away from contact at the rim.
The biggest knock that I can tag on him is his size and capability as a defender at the next level. But I feel that his quickness and strength can help make up for his lack of length and height.
But every year there’s someone that falls into the 2nd round because of their lack of size/athletic ability/or speed. And after a few seasons in the league they blossom into a solid pro. Who else in this draft do you think could fit that discription?

ChewyParticipantI wouldn’t take him in the 1st round. The 2nd round year after year seems to go more towards random forgien prospects I’ve never heard of. Should he go in the 2nd round, yes. But I think he goes undrafted and gets multiple summer league team offers.

AdamJCallejaParticipantIncredible player for his size, but there have been so many undersized prospects that were on the radar most of their collegiate careers but ended up going undrafted and failed to find a place in this league (Jahii Carson, Ryan Boatright, Phil Pressey, Joe Jackson). Nate and Isiah seem to be the only ones that have recently been able to actually contribute to a team.

TRC1991ParticipantHe’s unbelievable. Such a good player. His size hurts of course, but he’s a guy that can make a team and provide instant offense off the bench. He’s also an outstanding passer. 2nd round pick worthy without a doubt

FastAndFuriousParticipantWatched almost all of his games, dude is a 5’8 Eric Bledsoe reincarnated,he even looks like him and is built the same way, very explosive, super quick, and can shoot. He can’t finish with his right hand and his shot selection is very shaky and his defense on and off the ball are some concerns, but the shot selection and defense may just be because his team needs so much from him he is forced to shoot bad shots and expend all his energy on offense.
As of now he is not a 1st round pick, but I think he is a second round pick, and if he can improve in the off-season if he goes back to school,he can for sure be a 1st rounder.

Kwame33ParticipantIn the same vein, how does everyone feel about Stefan Moody? Watching him slice up LSU right now.
