Who would you rather face in the finals

I don’t think you guys remember the spurs/heat finals the way i do. Lebron did very well that year with a very good defender on him. I remember Lebron getting buckets at will that series. I also remember a Spurs team that looked like it was playing the game on easy mode, no resistance put up by the heat defensively and a one man show, Lebron vs the Spurs. sounds awfully similar to the warriors cavs series. At the end of the day this is not a testament to Lebron’s skill, this a testament to great team basketball; a great team always beats a great player.

If I was part of the cavs organization, I’d want a rematch against the team that bested me last year. I bet it was extra sweet for the Spurs to come back and beat Miami after losing the year prior, and im sure Cleveland would love the chance to experience the same thing.. There are no easy matchups in the nba finals, especially when choosing between the Warriors and Spurs. Would be a great series regardless.

 It would be tough for Cleveland to beat either team. I think the two best teams are out West GSW and SAS. Cleveland is third and Chicago and OKC is tied for 4th.

 Although the East is no longer a cakewalk as seeds 1-12 are competitive with the Bucks at 13 also able to compete with anyone on their good nights albeit inconsistent. Out west is not as intimidating as it once was past the 4th seed. The Mavs and Grizzlies seem to have aged and in my opinion won’t be able to bear an 82 game season and then compete in a 7 game series at the highest level, the Rockets have the talent but look way out of sync, and the Jazz have been injury prone but the season is still young and these perceptions can change for both conferences.

it’s a tough call. The Warriors are obviously aus good als ever but the Spurs See now 21:0 at home and they are again the least talked about team at the top. If the Cavs really make it to the finals they probably face the Warriors if history is right since every team with a record like the Warriors habe right now won the Ring.

 But cavs are 6-1 since Kyrie’s back to the lineup (lost a close game against GSW and didnt really have his legs under him at that point), the cavs have a good shot to beat both teams..

I would say the warriors only because they are (albeit a great) jumpshooting team, while the spurs have a post presence, and basketball histroically dictates that teams that can execute in a slow down half court pace, with a strong defence, are those that tend to win in a grind out series. That being said, there has never been a player like Curry, or a backourt as dynamic as the splash brothers.

Warriors definitely. The difference for me is one team has Gregg Popovich and the other team doesn’t (although Luke and Steve Kerr are both good coaches, potentially great someday). Put Kawhi on Lebron and Danny Green on Kyrie, have him run Kyrie off the 3 point line and run into Duncan in the paint

Neither team, I don’t think the Cavs can beat the Spurs or Dubs in a series.  Cavs were "stacked" on XMAS and didn’t beat the Dubs who were without Barnes and their head coach!  I’m a big LeBron fan, however homeboy NBA Finals record is awlful !  And you can’t count on Irving being health, he’s been hurt off/on since game 09 at Duke.  And if OKC could play team ball and some "D"….they would have a NBA ring!
