Meditated StatesParticipantRondo vs Thunder tonight goes for 13pt,9reb,19 dimes,5 steals while shooting 45%. He forces Russell into a 6-23 day as well.
Is he not a top 10 pg in thes NBA?

BiggysmallsParticipantSo you’re saying there aren’t 10 NBA PGs you would take over Rondo right now?
I don’t think he’s a top-10 NBA PG. I don’t think he’s a top-15 NBA PG honestly. But maybe I’m just a hater.

adumParticipantI was the leader of the Rondo hate brigade but I admire what he’s doing this season.
In no particular order
Curry
Westbrook
Lowry
Wall
Lillard
Kyrie
Cp3
Then you have guys like Conley, Parker, Teague, Bled/Knight and Rondo. Out of all those guys I’d choose Rondo who has been playing amazing this season.

HitsterParticipantRondo seems to be back towards his creative best, he’s leading the NBA in assists and DMC seems to be benefitting from having a top level creative guy around him too.
I haven’t seen that much of Rondo in game action this season, so I don’t know where his game is defensively compared to his Boston peak.

MatosParticipantI’ve always thought he was a top 10 pg. Problem is that he isn’t a scorer so he needs scorers around him to be effective, hence why he was killin it in Boston with KG, Pierce & Ray Allen. His defense has always been great. Still remember when he had that nasty elbow injury in the playoffs and was playing one arm.

MatosParticipantHe wasn’t motivated in Boston with the rebuild already beginning and in Dallas that fit was just bad from the start. You cant have him with another ball handling guard in the back court.
He seems more motivated in SAC now that its a better fit.
