AdamJCallejaParticipantPicking up his man 90 feet away from the basket, you need a turnover or a steal, who you taking?
There are plenty of great options, Chris Paul, Pat Beverley, Westbrook, Avery Bradley, Mike Conley, Jrue Holiday or maybe you can even go longer with Tony Allen or Leonard.
I think I’d have to take Avery Bradley, incredible lateral quickness with quick, strong hands and incredible motor. Complete hound on this end, a joy to watch and a bit under appreciated.
Who you guys got?

TripleDoubleScoutParticipantBradley, with Leonard as my second choice.

ExumInfernoParticipantK Leonard, long and quick like Pippen was and able to guard point guards, and steal the ball.
Westbrook is second choice.
Rubio, Crowder, Larkin, all good options. Maybe Rondo too.

Jr. ROXASParticipantCrowder really? Don’t tell me it’s just because he led the steals at one point this season. That guy is far from a ballhawk.

capecodderParticipantCrowder is indeed a ball hawk and excellent defender….Rondo on the other hand, is a bad defender who gets most of his steals with gambles and often gets burnt and does not deny peneatration

ProximoParticipantHe isn’t the best, but Dennis Schroder is worthy of mention.

markfitz14ParticipantJeff Van Gundy said Kawhi is the best perimeter defender in the NBA. And I agree.
But for picking up the PG/SG 90 feet out I take Bradley all day. He has a knack for stealing it out there.

GreekballinBradley, he was solid against Curry their last matchup.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantPat Beverly is the most relentless full-court perimeter defender in the league right now. I don’t know if I would necessarily choose him if I needed a steal in a specific situation , but throughout the game he is the guy that frustrates and wears down opposing pgs the most.
