 Good for him.  He’s playing better of late.  It drives me a bit nuts that people just hand Kobe a spot but not Timmy or Dirk.

 Kobe is a legend but the allstar game is not a lifetime achievement award and if so then Duncan and Dirk are shoe ins. Furthermore let’s not say players on bad teams or struggling don’t deserve to be an allstar because Kobe is both. If the game is truly for the fans then let’s put the best players in there, no more four players from one team because they have a good record. Let’s give the fans the most talented and entertaining players that are producing, like it used to be despite their team record.  I doubt anyone would dare say AD is not an allstar because the Pelicans suck. Hats off to Kobe I’m sure he will make it a memorable game.

 I was looking at the first return and wondering… WHERE IS ANDREW WIGGINS!!! He wasn’t even there! I expected Canada and Minnesota to get behind him to see him play and he is having a good season.

 That’s a lot of votes, interesting to see him listed as a frontcourter now as he has only really started playing there this season. I guess it gives people more flexability in the voting and means that someone like Westbrook or Harden gets a start alongside Steph Curry.
