Egidijus Mockevicius of Evansvile Purple Aces. The guy has been a beast this season playing 30.3MPG and averaging 17.9PPG, 13.4RPG and 2.8BPG. His FG percentage is .669 and pretty nice FT .721. But my question is why he isn’t in any 2016 draft rumours? I know that he is 23yo but he is worth being considered as a prospect not all star level player, but solid C. Thanks for answers.

He had a great game against Arkansas and is having a really good season. It is hard for guys from lesser known programs playing in low profile games to emerge in November and December. He looks much bigger than his listed 225 lbs. (he has been listed at 6’10" 225 lbs. by Evansville since he arrived which everyone knows is just an athletic department putting a number on a piece of paper), contests in the paint well, runs the floor and keeps up well with a team prone to getting up and down, and is a solid post scorer (though the team probably does not get him as many as they should because of DJ Balentine’s presence). From what I have seen, the Missouri Valley is pretty deep and likely a multiple bid league this year, so I think he will start catch more of an eye as the season goes on if for no other reason because of his numbers. With all their seniors and juniors, I tend to believe Evansville will challenge UNI and Wichita State for the automatic bid. Mockevicius is certainly going to be an active participant in the pre-draft process, but I want to catch some more as the season goes on. Evansville got some really rotten  home-cooked reffing in that Arkansas game, but I found him to be impressive.

Thanks for response. I just recently got interested in NCAA. I was only tracking my compatriots. Sabonis and Mockevicius. I didn’t understand the fact that Sabonis’ name is in spotlight, but there’s no single word about Mockevicius though his numbers are even better, so you made it clear to me.

Ya I’ve liked him as a second rounder for a while. Agree wholeheartedly with above analysis. He can also face up and put it down on the floor from the high post. Backup big potential.

The Edge of Mock Drafts, like Joe Mayo it does sound made up.

See what happens at the draft camps, maybe he is a second rounder.

He isn’t missing a lot of shots, but he needs his school to get to the postseason and to have a big game against a bigger team.
