    How times have changed.

    While the Playoff race for the East is hot, there will likely be a very average team from the West coming up against the Warriors in the first round.

    Given how good the Warriors are, it seems like a sweep is likely for one of these teams, who are all separated by just a few games.

    Nuggets

    Jazz

    Suns

    Twolves

    Pelicans

    Kings

    So which team do you think will play their hearts out to make the playoffs…and furthermore, is there anything to be gained by getting swept by the Dubs and losing valuable draft position (possibly 5-6 spots)

    Right now I’d give the 8th spot to Utah based on the teams listed.   They have a young roster that for the most part has not reached the playoffs outside of Hayward and Favors.  I think that could drive them to fight for that 8th seed.

     Utah, and if healthy, they maybe could win 1 game against the Dubs, they made it close their last encounter.

     I’m saying the suns get the final seed, I like their back court (I’ve only watched 1 suns game) they seem quick as a team, and Bledsoe is a legit PG. Most of the other teams are in the same boat they need 1 more legit player to be an automatic contender to make the playoffs. 

    Going against the Warriors in the 1st round will be a difficult, bordeline impossible task for which ever team gets the final seed.

    With that being said what player in the 2016 draft would fit the teams not making th playoffs the best? Me being a Twolves fan I think another big would be great maybe Skal? It would be awesome to have a modern day twin towers+Wiggins+LaVine
