He’s the next line for John Calipari PG at Kentucky, how good do you think he is or will be. Better than John Wall or in the mold of Brandon Knight? What’s his celling?

Cal has said Fox is a John Wall clone! We covered him at peach jam and he was on a team with many top guys (Terrence Ferguson, Marquis Bolden, and Billy Preston) Fox had the respect of them and led them!  This is the top PG class in a decade! (Fox,Smith,Ball,Jackson,Simmons,Winston,Woods) All could be NBA players but Fox is the most complete.  I love this message board you all really know your info I will provide info as much as I can but you can follow us on Twitter at @Kingofbballnews

De’aaron fox looks good as advertised. Like that he is unselfish but has an aggressive playing style. His stride with the ball is reminiscent of John wall in the open court but his jumpshot is alot better at this stage. Only knack I see in his game is his slight frame (170 lbs) but he’s still 6’4 and a elite athlete at the point guard position. Fully expect him to put up solid numbers at Kentucky, something like 16 ppg 5 apg in his lone year and easily become a one and done top 5 pick in the 2017 nba draft.

He’s really fast, and can shoot, and score, and is very athletic. It’s just unfair that Calipari gets these guys year in, and year out. I think Fox will be special in that he has Wall’s physical tools and his offensive skills may even be better. But John Wall at Kentucky was great because he had a ridiculous swagger for a freshman. Don’t know if Fox will have the intangible leadership quality that Wall had. Wall owned his team, and even upperclassmen were loving him. Can Fox come in and command from day one like Wall did? Looking forward to seeing that.

I completely agree. Even if he’s as talented as Wall, it’s almost impossible to replace him. Everything from him doing the John Wall at Midnight Madness, to his intensity and swag during games, to the way he would take over games (like against UCONN and UNC). He might always be my favorite college player ever

Great points by Uncledrew and Illadelph; this kid has all the talent in the world. If he puts in the work, no reason he shouldn’t be an elite PG in the NBA for years (health permitted).

He’s one of the best defensive PG prospects in a long while. By far the best part of his game.
