Arc12345ParticipantDoes anyone know if there are any current trade rumors regarding ATL? I know some people on here have insider information, and I was wondering if they’d be willing to share.
I’ve looked online, and there seems to be nothing with their name attached to it. I just find that so hard to believe, as I truly believe they are 1 good wing player away from fighting with the Cavs in the East.
If they’re not even trying to make a move before the trade deadline, then I have really lost faith in the management after a spectacular year last year. By not making a move, they’re remaining in the middle of the pack of the East (where they seem to be every year). They need to take a risk in bringing in a stud wing, or simply enter the rebuilding process. The bottom line is this team is not going to get it done with the current pieces they have.

SkalAndJamalParticipantI dont know if this info is legit, but I heard you guys are interested in taking Nick Young off our hands.

Arc12345ParticipantTypical… Why am I not surprised? The one wing scoring wing in the NBA I probably WOULD NOT want for the Hawks is Nick Young. Of course that’s who they’re interested in. Just like Hardaway Jr…can we just revisit that one more time? The Hawks gave away Oubre for Hardaway Jr. Think about that…
I’d take JR Smith before Nick Young. My dream situation would be something along the lines of a Demar Derozan, Harrison Barnes, Danilo Gailinari, Gordon Hayward, etc. I know it would require big pieces to get some of those guys but damn it, something has to be done.

SubZeroParticipantTalent wise, you’d probably have to give up at least something like Millsap and Schroeder for DeRozan or Hayward

PulseGlazerParticipantThere is no way they give up Millsap for anything less than a true star.

Arc12345ParticipantThere must be more information out there or possibilities? Or perhaps it’s just wishful thinking on my part…

TRC1991ParticipantWhat about a guy like Shabazz Muhammad? He’s on the block, has proven he can score, and his stock is low right now

Arc12345ParticipantI’d be thrilled with a Muhammad or Lavine even. I think Lavine is best at the 2, but that’s just my opinion.
Muhammad would be great. Exactly the type of wing we’d need. He’d have to get comfortable fast as the go to player on the wing, but I think he could handle it. It would take a season or two for him to really get comfortable I believe.

r377ParticipantWith the Suns drafting and playing Booker, Archie Goodwin is just sitting on the bench. Goodwin would be a good, cheap low risk player to take a chance on.
Mitch McGary isn’t getting much run from the Thunder – in fact he is playing D-League. He would add some toughness, while getting groomed by Horford and Milsap

Arc12345ParticipantI wish so badly Booker had fallen to us at 15. But we probably would’ve traded him away too…SMH.
McGary can freaking play man. He’d get run with so many teams. I’m realizing talent on the wing is SO valuable. Way more so than PG’s or even bigs. Finding that 6’6-6’7+ dude with real skills on the perimeter doesn’t come easy. Wow.
