Prodigy Of TREXParticipantLets all take a second and reminisce the legendary performance Kelly Olynk pulled of last night. Of course Curry’s stat line of almost a near triple double and 38 points will overlook the average NBA “fan boy” but Olynks stats cannot be ignored considering the fact he was going up against a top 5 defender in the league in Green. Connecting from inside the paint and beyond the arc, he scored a team-high 28 points, two off the career best he established last December. All but six of those points came after halftime, as he helped the Celtics rally from an 11-point third quarter deficit. The good ole OE was in full effect and the Cs loss in what was a very controversial game in terms of officiating.

Gold ChainI’m hoping Olynyk gets more and more looks in the post. I think that will really help him to become more consistent as a big scorer. He’s a streaky shooter, but so are most players.
And having a bigger role as a post scorer will allow him to avoid 3 pointers and long 2 point jumpers altogether some games.
Celtics are just getting better and better every week.
So is the OE OG.

OhCanada-ParticipantI strongly believe Olynyk can be a dominant offensive player in the league in the future. He has one of the best skillsets for any big in the league.
