8 guys in double figures last night.  While they didn’t have an innordinate amount of assists, that looks like some good team basketball.

Going forward, you kind of have to like them – especially with Stephens coaching.  He is getting pros to buy in like they are college players.

The artist formerly known as T-Rex is waking up, blasting that new Bieber album, and having the hardest morning oakwood seeing Olynyk’s +14 in the box score.

I do love the Celtics approach and admire the heck out of them for having such a great situation. Stevens is awesome. When Danny Ainge makes a splash via trades/Free Agent, this team will get some more national props that it deserves.

Celtics started the game vs Bulls completely flat and lifeless. I thought the game was over after 6 minutes. Then KO came in and scored 12 points in his first 9 minutes, pretty much saving the game.

He’s going to need to be on for the Celtics to have a chance against the Warriors.

Luckily, he’s really starting to hit his stride. He even missed his first two shots last night, but didn’t let it get him down like he often does.

The Kings game in Mexico City was really a turning point for him, especially his thunderous double pump dunk. Now he attacks the rim like he wants to dunk on people, and of course he can pull up from anywhere, at any time.

And his post game is getting more confident as well. He can pump fake from the 3 point line, take his man into the post, take his time, and score with either hand in a variety of ways.

This guy’s upside is something like rookie year Towns/Porzingis, even though those guys are already better and likely always will be, being 4 years younger.

As a Celtic fan i’m so proud this team improves every year. I don’t know if they will attract good Free Agents this summer but i could totally see players like Durant, Horford or Conley giving the Celtics a meeting to convince them to join their project

The Celtics are very solid at plenty of positions. Future success will depend on them getting a star player or a player that can become a star in their system. Isiah Thomas’ production aside who else threatens you to score 20 on any given night? The guard duo of Thomas and Avery Bradley could be the most underrated combo in the NBA and although no stand out big man the foursome of Lee, Sullinger, Olynyk and Amir Johnson can compete with any frontline in the NBA on a given night. At this point though they lack a consistent stud (unless Isiah Thomas is your guy) and they can’t protect the rim very well.

This Celtics team is like last years Hawks, but not as good.  They will be a very solid regular season team.  They will get exploited come playoff time.  Though I do see them advancing to the 2nd round… the notion as some ridiculous ESPN article would suggest that they are the best team in the East is equally as absurd.  The game will slow down in the playoffs.  More teams will be playing their best players for longer stretches.

I expect them to finish top 4 regular season.  Advance a round and then get knocked out.. Which to me is success given their lack of a number 1 option.

They are one top 20 or 15 player away from being the best team in the East I think.
