Lol it wasn’t even close they won by 12. I remember reading a thread talking about the spread on this game favouring Philly. LLPerez was in disbelief after being notified of the thread. I hope he didn’t watch this game. Philly hasn’t been as bad as their record assumes. Just in crunch time they haven’t had any structured distribution or order to close games. When Wroten returns I bet this team starts playing close to 500% basketball if they stay healthy. I think Wroten will have a Paul George type return not saying he plays at an MVP level but more likely he returns drastically improved and mostly due to the help Covington and Okafor is now providing.

Its actually not that farfetched they did it for a while last year as well and I stand behind the statement. 8-12 would be 40% basketball and I could see them going 20-30 for a period of 50 games if healthy which is also 40% basketball which is close to 50%. I actually believe they will finish with a better record than the Lakers.

Scott’s definitely not the guy but he’s the guy that gives the Lakers the best odds of keeping that pick lol.

Byron is the guy before the guy.

Lakers might get Simmons in the draft.

Simmons, Randle, Russell form a young core.

Williams, Young, Bass off the bench.

Resign Clarkson, let the rest of the guys (Hibbert) walk.

Lakers can then go after Horford, Noah, Jennings, Barnes, Dwight (lol jks), Crawford, Conley, Green, Whiteside, Martin, Gordon, Anderson, Durant, Rondo, and DeRozan.

I’m sure they’ll manage to get at least 1 name from that list.

Then back again in 2017 for guys like, Hayward, Gay, Westbrook, Ibaka, Holiday, Evans, CP3, Blake, Curry, Iguodala, Gallinari, Rose, and Teague.

Who knows, maybe they can get 2 of those guys.  Lakers have an incredible history to draw recruits to, and with championship windows closing (I’m looking at you Clippers), players might decide to try their hand at a team that is happy to throw cash around and has a few young pieces to boot!

Best case (realistic) scenario for 2017:

    Westbrook
    DeRozan
    Simmons
    Randle
    Horford

With Russell/Clarkson coming off the bench.

Lol at the thought of Tony Wroten being the difference b/t a team that wins 5% of their games and a "close to .500" team. He’s been a huge net negative his entire career.  Last year there wasnt a single guard in the league who got starter’s minues (or close to it, ~30mpg) with a worse RPM.

Yeah he’s a difference maker alright, but not how the OP thinks he is.

The 76ers fans were so happy after the win.

They even started chanting the name of the player that made the win possible.
