ZachAttackParticipantThey HAVE to do it tonight. The only shot they have at winning is tonight. I know it might sound a bit crazy, but an 0-82 season may actually happen. Philly is honestly a disgrace to the NBA. Sorry to bring up another Philly thread. I know that everyone hates them. But I have an honest question, who the heck can Philly beat to be 1-81 if they don’t win the Lakers? What’s your opinion?

ChewyParticipantbecause on paper, they are an 0-82 team. But the NBA season is long and teams have back to backs and long roadtrips. The 6-76ers should be able to steal games here and there during the season. But they won’t ever be expected to win.

RUDEBOY_Participantlakers are 1 point underdogs lmao. but i think they win by 7.
alot of interesting scenerios surrounding the game.
1.can philly get their 1st win?
2.fans in philly always booed kobe whenever he went there.now dat he’s retiring how will they respond?
3.the 2nd & 3rd picks in draft will be on display russell & okafor
4.the pressey family meets 2nite.flip with philly and dad paul assistant with lakers.
5.moses malone will be honored during the game.

I May Be WrongParticipantI actually hate the fact that we’re "favored" to win. I don’t want that. It’s going to honestly feel like another road game for the Sixers in my opinion. The number of Laker fans in attendance that paid $85 in the nosebleeds to watch an icon shoot 7/24 will make it feel like the Sixers are the underdogs in their own building. (I joke at that subtle Kobe shot – he has my respect.. But if I have to deal with the malarky on my Sixers, I can add that little tidbit lol)
I don’t think you’ll hear boos for reasons I’ve stated above.
This game has big tanking implications. The team that is a "disgrace to the league" (Oh brother -__-) still would lile to get a chance for the Lakers pick. Of course, we need some draft luck, McDunkin’s first born, and maybe a bribe to make that happen but draft implications are already heavy with tonight’s game.
With that being said, I’m hoping for a Sixer W with a little help from Byron Scott. If the Sixers can bring the energy from the last 5 games, I like our chances. AND I want a statement game from JAHZILLA after all these reports coming out of nowhere about his actions.

ScarTissue98Participantgoes wild & Phila is down by 30 at halftime like they were last week at Charlotte…… I’m hoping that the NBA votes to send at least one team per year (the worst team) into relegation like they do in European Soccer….. And in May they announce that Phila has forfeited their Draft picks & will play in the D-League next year…..
& next year they will struggle to make the final seed of the D-League playoffs…. Does the D-League have playoffs??? And then next year we won’t have to read a single thread about the 76ers….

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantThe funny thing is, while this may represent Philly’s best chance for a win, for tanking purposes this is a game that they absolutely have to lose. Every win the Lakers pile up this season gives philly a better chance of getting their pick.

holefillers1ParticipantThey will start winning Tony Wroten returns. Also getting Kendall Marshall back soon. The guards they have now can not finish games without turning the ball over nearly every possesion. They will win around 16 games. Book it dude!

circumlocution75Participantespecially for Noel & Okafor…. b/c those guards can at least penetrate Sixers fans will at least start to see Okafor & Noel get some easy buckets…. & they will make a huge difference at the end of games w/ better ball movement & fewer unforced errors…..

ZouldiersParticipantIf there’s a team the Sixers could beat besides the Lakers, its the Heat. We just seem to lose to teams we are supposed to beat and its apparent again this season…SMH.
