Do they really miss Paul Pierce that much or is Otto Porter just not that good?

Pierce was there calming and clutch guy and I guess the John Wall factor is not as strong as many would suggest on this site. He has some decent all-around stats but does not give them that scoring punch they need. I know I will catch a lot of negs for that comment but hey..

The John Wall effect is no where near as useful as the Olynyk effect.

I think Randy Wittman is just slightly inept as a head coach, Coach Thibs?

Randy Wittman is not a good coach; however, neither is Thibs. If you want to burn your team out and grind them into the ground, yeah go with Thibs, but there are much better choices out there.

They need to give Oubre more time. Otto just isnt good, and Beal is very inconsistent

players….. But they are not strong enough down low…. In addition & more importantly, the East has really strengthened in the number of mid-level teams that will battle for Playoff Seeds 6 thru 8….

Indiana & Miami are challenging for the the #2 & #3 seeds….. w/ Chicago & Atlanta for who will sit behind Cleveland…. So that’s 5 very good teams right there….

So that leaves Toronto, Washington, Boston, Milwaukee, Charlotte, New york, Detroit & even Orlando to battle for those last 3 spots….

I expect Washington & Toronto to take Two of those spots (Seed #6 & #7)……. & then I believe either Boston or Milwaukee will take that final #8 seed as the other teams mentioned faulter b/c of youth or b/c they have not been together as long….. But other than Brooklyn & Philadelphia no one in the East is a push over…..

I have made several posting and threads about Wall, he is a very good player, a star, but he is hyped up because of his all-around game. Being better all-around player doesn’t necessarily make you the better player, was Scottie Pippen better than Jordan, is Iguodala better than Durant, Is Chris Paul better than Curry?  The first guys mention have a better all-round game better but the other guys are so dominant in one or two aspects of the game that it supersedes an all-around game.  I agree with you invalid, I wouldn’t make that post neither, you may get 1million negs for it..
