markfitz14ParticipantThis will be a Top 5 to remember in this draft. I think those guys listed can all be all stars.
But Simmons is on another level than the rest.

SkalAndJamalParticipantGuessing you didnt watch the duke-kentucky game? Because Ingram couldnt hold Jamal’s jock. Shoot I dont even know if I would have him over Dwayne Bacon. And dont give me anything about Skal, other than the first 4 mins, he bounced back but these new rules putting shotblockers and aggressive offensive rebounders on the bench is what killed him. If he could have played 30 mins would have had around 20-10- 3blks.
1. Skal Labissiere
2. Ben Simmons
3. Jamal Murray
4. Jaylen Brown(I anticpate him to not declare this year tho)
5. Kris Dunn

TarHeelRavenParticipantI concur. I was interested to see how Ingram would come out against actual competition. He didn’t show up. Based on his play against Kentucky, he’s not a lottery pick as of now.

Magic JordanParticipant1) Simmons
2) Skal
3) Jaylen Brown
4) Ingram
5) Murray
Simmons is just a cut above the rest. He makes everything look effortless. He is smarter and a step ahead of all the other kids on the court. His jumpshot will come. Has he even taken one at LSU yet???
My only problem with Skal is I am not sure how much weight he can gain. He has pretty narrow shoulders and his arms are already pretty big. He could be a guy that peaks at 230 at the absolute most. Anthony Davis is the obvious rebuttal, but he has very wide shoulders which usually means room to add weight. I don’t see it with Skal. His offensive game is very advanced for someone his age and his jumpshot is a thing of beauty, but if he can’t put on much weight he will struggle at the 5.

ZachAttackParticipant1. Ben Simmons
2. Jaylen Brown (my favorite player from this draft class)
3. Skal Labisserie
4. Jamal Murray
5. Dragan Bender
Simmons is the clear #1 player. If he plays as good as he’s played his first two games, the Lebron comparisons will be real
Jaylen Brown is a heck of an athlete and he’s my fav player from this draft, can’t wait for him.
Labisserie looks alright, I’m not a huge fan of him. But I mean, he can play, he’s just not as good imo as others in this draft are.
Jamal Murray is in a good position, because it doesn’t matter what team you get drafted by, good guards are always in need. Especially as a top 5 pick. Most of those teams don’t have very good guards
Dragan Bender is my sleeper, he’s a GREAT player but will likely drop to 5 since no one really knows about him. I really like him and his outside shot, and I can’t wait to see it translate to the NBA.

HeroescantdieParticipant1- Simmons = He’s ahead of every body not in terms of his numbers but his potential, with his height, above average athleticism. High IQ and skill set combined that with his size that screams potential like Davis, Durant potential not game type. Unusual size with unique skillset.
2- Skal = I think with the league trend today, big man with touch out to 3pt line and can block shots, he fit the bill. He’s a Skilled Big man, who shoots fadeaways on the post ala Aldridge. But he needs strength.
3- Ingram = I think he’s still ahead of Brown, cause he’s unique and has more potential since he’s younger and longer than Brown. He’s a mismatch always. with his shooting touch and good handle he can create his own shot. with his length he can rise on any defender shorter than him. Although he need more strength. but teams can too enamored wiht his upside.
4- Brown = He’s a bull in the open court, and with the rise of jimmy butler I think teams will rejoice if they landed this prospect. He’s like stanley johnson but johnson more powerful and brown more athletic. johnson has the slight advantage in terms of ball handling.
5- Murray = He’s a combo guard, He’s unique work ethic is a plus to any team. although his real height is too consfusing, if he’s 6’5 man that could boost his stock, but if 6’4 below I think he might slide a bit.but his Skills and IQ is way ahead of the past 3 prospects I mentioned.

MopgrassParticipantA week ago people were hyping Ingram as #2. One subpar game and everyone jumps back off? Do you know how many bad games Wiggins had? In no way was Ingram overmatched individually against any Kentucky player. He had slight trouble go against Kentucky’s team defense and shots he makes were missed. He will benefit incredibly from NBA. Dude is still my #2.

FrankStalloneAgreed. He got his shot off at will, they just weren’t falling but they were right there. Like Olynyk’s dirk fadeaway on Dirk.
And he still has a shot at #1. Simmons needs to show he’s not just a 6’10" Elfrid Payton.

EspressoParticipantI was at work and unfortunately missed the game! However I saw the highlightand the looks were there.
Ingram "moves" look like allstar material, as well as Skal hitting turnaround jumpers in the smoothest fashion I have seen a Fr. big do. Remember how it took Davis to start hitting that face up jumper consistenly mostly being in and outs… Skal is coming in without progress in the season and already looking like a nasty shooting PF/C, are looking for that guy. Both of these two mechanics are excellent.
