 I’d really love to hang on to the Brooklyn pick if possible.  But unfortunately with how bad Brooklyn has been Sac will demand the pick in a trade for Cousins.

I would trade one of the Brooklyn picks but not both.

If Ainge thinks that Simmons has any shot to be in the LeBron range, I wouldn’t trade the pick without it being protected for #1.

I saw a quote from Ainge where he said that every GM is looking for the next "transcendant" player. Considering how few and far between these players are and that they almost never come on the trade or free agent market, I don’t think you pass up the chance to nab one. Cousins is good, but not transcendant.

The Kings can have a half dozen of our other players or picks; their choice. Lord knows the bench is too damn crowded as it is.

 Cousins is a joke… take away the stats and all  you have is whiny baby with a losing record.

 The day they send Cousins packing is the day the Kings take a huge step forward towards becoming a winning franchise no matter what they receive in return.  Wesley Johnson was still a better pick for the Wolves than Cousins.  At least Johnson is off the team and not causing problems like Cousins would be had the Wolves drafted him.

You can see the fire is just not there with George Karl right now. He seems like he deferes to his players, especially to Cousins. A younger Karl would have been great for this team but Karl now just seems like he’s coasting through the season.

 George Karl wasn’t the problem.  It is the other cancer that has consumed the Kings locker room. Karl doesn’t need to coach a bunch like that at this point in his life.

 As a Sixers fan this whole situation warms my heart. Kings will def. miss the playoff thus we get to add their lottery balls to ours. That trade is looking better and better. I can’t believe anyone thought Karl and Cousins would work.
