Robb_CParticipantAveraging 21pts and 23rbs in the last 4 games.. He’s literally playing like Wilt Chamberlain right now.

SkalAndJamalParticipantI wanted to say the same thing but I feel like most bball fans get close minded when it comes to comparing players to all time greats.

Rip256Early MVP contender.
Big banger is really going to struggle getting a starting spot at this rate.

I May Be WrongParticipantI couldn’t do this in 2k even if I set it on Rookie
… just kidding. that’s pretty easy with injuries / fatigue off.

TheMOSTHATEDoneParticipantNumbers are inflated since there is no other rebounder in the team, Marcus Morris is offensively gifted but mediocre rebounder for a PF, But all in all Andre is playing like the best center in the league

esperanzafleet69Participantdude, andre was still putting up ridiculous rebounding numbers when monroe was on the team last year.. theyre not inflated..

Andrew1984ParticipantI was thinking more like Moses Malone. What Drummond is doing this year is what I actually thought he’d do last year.
0- Posted on: Mon, 11/09/2015 - 8:48am #1023345

ropeParticipantMalone did a lot of his work on the offensive boards and at the free throw line.
Drummond is making the most of the pick and roll, but is his rebounding that is the eye popper. It is Chamberlain / Rodman stuff. He is just so athletic for his size.

Memphis MadnessParticipantYeah, ESPN noted that Andre is the first guy since Moses Malone in 1983-1984 to do this well in points and boards at the start of the year.
20.3 points and 20.3 boards a night is pretty good. And, the Pistons are winning, too!
If the season ended today (hopefully it doesn’t. On the other hand I am a Grizzlies fan, and it might actually already be over for us. Still am curious to see if Steph can break Wilt’s record when they come to Memphis on the 11th. I think we have a shot though if we hold the Warriors to only 100 points — by halftime), I have Andre Drummond as the MVP. Best stat line. Best team in the East. Steph is doing great too, but he won it last year.
MVP Power Poll
1. Andre Drummond
2. Steph Curry
3. LeBron
4. Blake Griffin
5. Russell Westbrook
6. Kevin Durant
7. Damian Lillard
8. Kawhi Leonard
9. John Wall
10. James Harden

I.C.Y.U.NV.MEParticipantAnd that’s the biggest thing. His dominance shows in the Pistons record. This whole off season my friends were talking about Anthony Davis (and deservedly so), but I kept saying watch out for Drummond. Looks like he finally put it together. Hopefully he can sustain this level of play. Deeeetrooooit baaasketball!!

herceg_bukuParticipantRaptors drafted Ross over Drummond because they werent impressed by the shoes he wore when they were doing official measurements and he seemed taller than he really was and he had -bad- attitude… what a joke, i knew this was gonna happen, he was a no brainer of a pick, sort of like Prozingis and Okafor were in this draft

Bankroll PJParticipantThey didn’t draft him because they drafted Valanciunas the year before and didn’t think the two could coexist.

omphalosParticipantDrummond absolutely should have been picked second in 2012. To think Charlotte didn’t consider him because of Biyombo!

Rip256Lets see how Andre Drummond fares against a legit veteran, and possibly the most wiley big man in the league.
Andrew Bogut 2.0 – The streamlined version.
Amazing how quick some people jump on and off the A.Drummond bandwagon.

Mr. HookShotParticipantI always enjoy it when a player breaks out and everybody states "Team X should’ve definitely picked him"…

omphalosParticipantTo be fair, I was lobbying long and hard for Drummond to go first overall right up to the draft. I was convinced he’d have the better career than Davis after 5 years.
Obviously that’s unlikely now, but the two are still fairly even in terms of talent, just in different ways.

Mr. HookShotParticipantThat’s nice and all but not precisly the point; you’ve probably picked a dozen other players to become stars in the league as well (I know I have) who didn’t pan out 😉

HitsterParticipantWith Monroe having moved on, Drummond has really taken over as the dominant frontcourt player in Motorcity. He must have a great shot of making the All Star game and is a leading contender for MIP in my view.
