Has there ever been anyone as adept at getting fouled (or making it seem like he got fouled) in the act of shooting. I thought guys like ginobilli and harden were the best at this but I think I’ve changed my mind after watching Williams the first few games this year. It’s almost hilarious to watch at times. He will come off a screen and wait for the defender to make even the slightest contact and then just throw the ball at the basket from wherever he is on the floor. And the refs will usually give him the call.

Yeah that Lakers game the other night was ridiculous, he went 16-19 on free throws. Seemed like every single time he touched the ball he got fouled.

The impressive part is that when you watch the replays, 95% of those calls are correct calls, he really is getting fouled. Just a vet taking advantage of weaker defenders

yeah, im not saying this just becasue im a laker fan. I normally hate guys like harden who throw themselves into the defender and lead with their elbows and get calls. But in lou’s case, he really is getting fouled. He had four 4 point play opportunites a coupe games ago. Guys just reach on him a lot.

I’m a Laker fan and still don’t get why he didn’t sign with a contender. Maybe he’ll ask for a trade in a few months.

get that foul call…. As far as him signing w/ L.A. – the Lakers are an Inconic NBA brand…. I have to think that for many of these young guys, pulling on that historic purple & yellow jersey is a dream…. Also , I think Lou is already involved in doing broadcast radio & L.A. is a Great market….

Having Young and Lou on the same team makes no sense, with the fact that you should be trying to develop Russel so he doesn’t end up being a bust..
