Who has seen him play in the preseason? Does it look like he might be able to contribute to the Hawks rotation?

I love his length, athleticism, and instincts but it’s hard to say. He needs to add muscle to his frame and polish to his game.
But I love him for my hawks and he could certainly be a valuable piece on the future. Good bigs are hard to come by.

I’m just truly excited that this young man has a chance to play in the National Basketball Association. He must be pinching himself right now! I hope he stays in good health and focuses his prayers on what is truly important, then he may sore like the Hawk he is.

  What does "focusing his prayers" have to do with basketball, or anything for that matter? How about instead of wasting time by "focusing his prayers", he focuses on something useful, like playing and practicing basketball.

Horford, then bigger with Splitter, then bigger with Waltah, the Hawks added some needed size.
Tavares looks useful, although with the center depth they have they won’t play him every game. He can play, and some games people will say he might be Atlanta’s Gobert.

He’ll see some minutes, the adding of Splitter has given them extra frontcourt depth but I can see him being brought along steadily and he’ll get his fair share of garbage minutes.
There will also be the D-League option if needed. I’ll be interested to see how he goes and I hope he does well.
