Finished with 23 and 14, but Jiangsu lost. NBADraft.net Chinese correspondent Lukas Peng is a partner in the youtube Channel that makes the highlights, they will definitely be keeping tabs on Greg Oden throughout the season.

Showing he can play extended minutes like this (for more than a game) will make NBA intruiged by the time the CBA season ends and playoff teams are looking add potential role players. Really happy for him.

Larry Bird did u watched this video? Pacers could use him. Good that he went somewhere so he could git extended minutes! Even if it’s against inferior competition and Work on his conditioning and confidence !!

If Oden were to try the NBA again his knees would give out.  If he wants to play some ball and make some good money it makes sense to play/stay in China.

Honestly, don’t look at numbers in China. The depth of talent among Chinese players cannot support the limit on foreign players and a 20-team league. If a guy is good enough to have played in the NBA, then he can fill in a boxscore. What is important, however, is to see whether Oden’s body can respond well to having a full season. He has not played 1,000 minutes in a season since 2009. Between normal rust of skills and a lack of confidence in how his body may respond, it is good that he is trying to play a season abroad.

Just to add, it would be wonderful if he can get through the 38-game season without any set-backs. The season length seems perfect for someone in his situation.
