sitlbitoParticipantFirst of all the all tournament team:
Pau Gasol:Dominated the tournament,averaged 25.6 pts and 8.8 rebounds,2.3 blocks.
Sergio Rodriguez:He was nominated because his team won,but solid as usual with his speed and creativity, love his skillset(could be a backup Point guard in the NBA no doubt)
Nando De Colo:Best player of the french team, the floorleader, more than Parker and Batum. He averaged 13.1 points,5.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists, shooting 42 % from three. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him come back in the NBA next year,he’s so much better now.
Jonas Valanciunas:Noone can handle him in FIBA,led an always good Lithuanian team to the final, avaeraging 16 and 8.
Jonas Maciulis:Had the hot hand for most of the tournament, averaging 14 and 6.
Other noticeable performances:
Jan Vesely:Averaged 19 and 9(though had more turnovers than assists),played center the whole tournament. Comes off a very good season with Fenerbahce. Looks like he has improved his touch around the rim, scored a lot of layup through contact, little floaters in the lane out of the PnR.
Tomas Satoransky:Averaged 4 points and 7 assists,he really impressed me. He apparently almost certainly WILL come over next year to the Wizards. Great vision, athleticism, and a 3pts shot is slowly coming along. Still out of control at times, but that will be corrected with experience.
Giannis Antetokounmpo:Averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds but, more importantly shot 38% from three(10/26). Granted the 3pts line is closer in FIBA,but his mechanics lok clearly better. Expect him to be inconsistent, and I don’t think he’ll average 38% on an NBA season, but it’s still a nice first step in his development in that area.
Rudy Gobert:Was his usual self on defense, even showed some nice spin moves offensively. His +/- stats were often the best of his team. Averaged 10 and 8 in 23 minutes, along with 2 blocks.

T RexWhat happened with Bjelica, did he cool off after a hot start or something?
I don’t even remember seeing him on the court vs Lithuania

llperezi only watched one game, the spain vs france semi final. I agree nando de colo was the best guy for france, i dont think he even put up big numbers that game but just his overall play showed leadership and it stood out. The guy who looked really bad for them was evan fournier, he got yanked with a quickness from the game after some wild plays.
