valentineWhich player would you like your team to draft?
Welcome to use best case scenarios regarding draft position…but try to keep it realistic.
Minny I think could really use Cheik Diallo. Hes a longer version of the Manimal.
He could do all the dirty work, allowing the KAT to focus on scoring.

James Webb
Fred van Vleed
Zach Auguste
Prince Ibeh
D’vauntes Smith-rivera
Dorian Finney-Smith
If

ChewyParticipantA back up PG
Any PG not named Marquis Teague.
Hell, I’ll take 2nd rounder Young or undrafted Boatwright.
I just want a back up PG (not named Hinrich/ Brooks) to stay in Chicago for more than a year…
I miss Nate Rob, CJ Watson and DJ Augustin…

Robb_CParticipantBulls with Sacramento Kings pick.. Kris Dunn from Providence, he’s a 2 way combo guard that can be an off the bench spark plug or help handle the ball when Rose is out

Memphis MadnessParticipantLittle early for the 2016 draft.
Are you guys throwing in the towel for your team already?
Although I would like to see Ben Simmons on the Lakers. I think he could be the next GUY. He can bring some more Showtime back to the Lakers. They have Clarkson, Russell, and Randle but now need a small forward.
Skal to the T Wolves to form an inside duo with Towns? That would be a nice combo.
I want the Grizzlies to draft that 7’6 guy out of UC Irvine. Mamadou Ndiaye or whatever his name is. I think Marcus Lee would be a pretty good backup power forward although we already have Brandan Wright and some young 4’s on rookie deals. I would take a flyer on Grayson Allen if he came out, especially with a 2nd round pick. The other Plumlee (Marshall?) fills out my way to early wish list.

T RexCeltics outsourced the tank to Brooklyn and Dallas.
Nobody’s throwing in the towel over here brah.
We’re just trying to figure out how to fit two lottery picks in with our existing roster.
It’s not as easy as you’d think, when you’re already 16 deep.

ballislyfe25ParticipantFor the Lakers I would obviously be happy with any of the top forwards; Simmons, Skal, Ingram and Brown.
If they lose their pick to Philly, I would love to see the Sixers add Simmons or Ingram and Jamal Murray.
Simmons would be a great addition to Minnesota. Frontcourt of Wiggins, Simmons, Towns? Skal and Murray would be nice fits, maybe Bender as well.
Root for LA but I like the young cores being put together in both Philly and Minny.

T RexThe Wolves look like they already have a poor man’s Simmons in Bjelica. Great fit at PF or SF.
Kind of like how the Bulls already had Mirotic, it’s ot like they were about to trade up for McDermott. Oh wait, that’s exactly what they did.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantAs a Lakers fan, skal would probably be number one on my wish list. This is assuming they keep their pick. If randle is their pf of the future, they need a center who can block shots and protect the rim and will be effective in both the pick and roll and pick and pop with Russell and Clarkson. Skal seems like he could be that player, provided he gets stronger.
Of course, this could be subject to change by next June and I would probably be happy with Simmons or brown as well.

MopgrassParticipantI think Skai could be an offensive force, but probably be an average to slightly above average defender. They need a center who makes up for Randle’s inability to protect the rim (like Roy Hibbert or even Upshaw).
As a Laker fan, of course I’d want Simmons, maybe Brown. However, they probably won’t get 1st pick. Instead I want them to get Brandon Ingram. He absolutely attacked the basket in HS. He can score in every possible way. He’ll have trouble in college because he weighs 10 pounds. That’s why he took so many midrange shots in the post-HS tournament games. People were comparing him to Durant for that, I just thought he had too much trouble powering through players.
Once this dude adds weight, there’ll be no stopping him. His wingspan and athleticism could make him pretty serious on defense. He can probably expand his shot to the 3 point line. He could run the floor pretty nicely with Russell, Clarkson, and Randle.
I guess it’s one more season of hoping my favorite team plays poorly.

MopgrassParticipantIngram is listed at 195 (no way in the world). 185, tops. He’d have to gain 55 pounds of muscle to be Durant (acceptably skinny). Not a lot of players can gain that much weight. Who does that? Maybe a center every-so-often. Dude is skinny.
As for Steph Curry, he’s pretty average in size for a PG. Ingram will be a SF.

oc1234ParticipantWould really like the Celtics to package up some of our picks trade up to grab Jaylen Brown or Brandon Ingram. If not I would hope that at least one of our picks becomes lottery and then we grab Ivan Rabb.

There’s really no one else in this draft that I’d want rather than Brown, Skal, and Simmons… But I’d take Hield with a late lotto pick, even though I don’t know to much on Bender I would consider him.
