MettaWorldDurant1ParticipantPhoenix Suns have are in a bad situation Markieff Morris wants out and has gone public about it. It seems pretty serious and there should be a trade coming. I know he signed a new deal recently but what is he really worth? Almost all of the teams in the Nba could use a stretch 4of his caliber or would be willing to trade for one. What are some Markieff Morris Trade Scenarios? or do they waive him?

Chilbert arenasParticipantAs a Suns fan I want to package Kieff and 2nd round pick or protected first for Terrence Jones. I’m a big Terrence Jones fan but more importantly I just want to put together a Kentucky alumni roster. We already have four former UK guards and need some front court help from big blue.

Winning_TimeParticipantMarkieff Morris would be a better fit next to Dwight, I really like that deal for Houston.

Winning_TimeParticipantIt’s always a dangerous idea posting a trade, but I’m in the mood.
The Nuggets have FOUR picks in this next draft.
DEN recieve: Kieff Morris, Archie Goodwin
PHX recieves: Kenneth Faried, Gary Harris, MEM 2016 pick
I know a lot of people on here are big Archie Goodwin fans so that’s why I threw the pick in there. Goodwin offers some potential to a struggling Nuggets franchise and Kieff adds some spacing for Nurkic. Denver is in no place to compete now but could gamble on Mudiay and Goodwin becoming an explosive and fun duo. Faried was a horrible fit in Denver last year (let’s not forget how hyped we were about him before the year started) and could really thrive in Hornacek’s system.
I thought Morris would be excited to play next to Tyson Chandler but I suppose not.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantI don’t like the fit of faried playing big mins next to Chandler. I think it will create too many spacing issues for Phoenix.
Boston has a logjam of bigs on their roster and not enough mins to go around as is. I wonder if they’d be open to a some kind of trade for Morris to balance out their roster a little more.

SubZeroParticipantMy first thought but you clarified the Archie part was “I’m gonna say something about not giving up Archie” lol. I agree with Dazzling Dunks, I don’t like Faried next to Chandler. There’d be about 0 room for Bledsoe, Knight, and Warren to penetrate

King CaluchaParticipantPhoenix needs a stretch 4. Bledsoe and Warren aren’t good shooters from the perimeter.

Stop_basketball_nonsenseParticipantWell, I don’t think the combination of morris & Goodwin warrant the value of farief, harris & a pick. Straight up 2 for 2 i can see. Plus why people acting like chandler & faried would clog up the paint a d cause spacing problems? Chandler catches lobs and hovers around the paint on offense never inhabits it. & faried’s offense improves every year, but hes not the kind of guy you throw the ball to at the beginning of the shot clock and play through on offense every possession.
I think 2,bugs that knight & bledsoe could run with and throw lobs to would be beneficial, especially since both are good defenders. To be blunt whatever had been coin.since Steve Nash left has them stuck in mediocrity. I would think players with different skillsets along with a different look as far as a different scheme on offense would be welcomed, one thing about life in general you rarely if ever get any different results from continuing the same action.

SubZeroParticipantIt would clog the paint because neither can shoot so their defenders can just hang around in the paint all possession. Just because they’re not gonna be holding the ball doesn’t mean that won’t clog it up down low

Stop_basketball_nonsenseParticipantLook I understand the point you and others are making, I do, just disagree with it. Denver is a ferocious attackimg team & they attacked the paint this past year with nurkic &, faried playing together. We all know chandler isnt in the paint as much as nurkic. I feel both chandler mostly and faried spend over half their time on offense hovering between 7 & 10ft.from the basket on offense until a shot goes up.

GdV93ParticipantMarkieef And Ryan Anderson Trade Would Be A Great Fit For Both Teams …..The Pelicans Need A Consistent Scorer Behind A.D. And The Sun’s Need A Consistent Face Up Four Keef Is More Versatile Then Anderson But The Success Of The 13-14′ Season Was A Success From A Stretch Four Changing Frye…..

thetrademachineryParticipantA swap between Morris and Frye seems possible..
Morris doesnt have the value he should have given that he requested a trade. Frye did well in Phoenix and it may be the best they can get along with a couple second rounders.

kerrstParticipantTrade Markieff for Patrick Patterson and Terrence Ross. Both provide shooting for the Suns and Raps get a bonafide starter at the 4.
