With the second pick in the NBA Draft, the Charlotte Hornets select… Andre Drummond!

    Voting Results:

    Drummond: 14
    Lillard: 6
    Beal: 4
    White: 2
    Green: 1

The 2012 NBA Re-Draft goes as follows:

    1. Anthony Davis – Hornets
    2. Andre Drummond – Bobcats

With the third pick in the NBA Draft, the Washington Wizards…

P.S. I’ve had a lot of questions about what to base this draft on… and to make it more clear to everyone, we’ll just pick it based on their 2012 roster/ team needs. So from now on, go like that.

Gotta go with Beal. Currently Lillard is the better player, but that could change in the near future. Plus you have Wall, so might as well give him a partner in crime.

John Wall absolutely dominates the ball and needs to in order to be successful. Knowing that I would pick Beal. Lilliard is still a good option as Wall can still gaurd the 2 yet I feel Beal is better off the ball and defensively.

Lillard has a higher true shooting percent, can make more plays off the ball and would be as good of a shooter as beal is if he was shooting wide open jumpshots from Wall. Lillard can also create a lot better for himself and teammates. He also is a two time allstar. The only knock on him is his defense. Beal is 3 years younger than lillard, so it really comes down to if you think beal will continue to improve and how much upside he has left, he is only 22 compared to 25 for lillard. Then throw in the injuries beal has had missing an average of 15 to 20 games a year while Lillard has played all 82 games every season. I would take lillard and pair him with John Wall.

Interesting, very very interesting. This is easily a SG pick, but I’m shocked to see all the love go towards Beal and none towards Middleton. Last years Per 36 has Beal at 16.4/4.1/3.2/1.3 on .427/.409/.783 percentages, while Middleton was at 16/5.3/2.8/1.8 with .467/.407/.859 shooting. Beal is 22 while Middleton is 23. I think Beal is better with the ball in his hands, but I think Middleton is superior defensively and is the more efficient player.

I’m currious as to why the forum thinks Beal is such a better SG prospect than Middleton?

With that being said, I still go with Beal because of his ability to put pressure on the D with his ball skills, and I think he has a star mentality too him.

Pretty obvious on this one given the Wizards success.

Washington has been successful with a Wall-Beal backcourt so no reason to break them up now.

I know that Beal isn’t the best player by any means, but by what we’ve seen, then Beal has been playing great with Wall, and having Beal there has made them both better. So my pick goes to Beal

Beal is a stud in the post season last two years, just needs to stay healthy and be more consistent during the season.

Beal… Has more two-way upside than Lillard plus fits better alongside Wall.

Hey Now!!!!!!! Kent Bazeman went undrafted..alot of teams look stupid now for passing him up..After seeing how he’s been tearing it up in the playoffs the last few years… Picking him 3rd will make the Bullets look oh so smart!!!
