From the creator of the annual Andrew 1984 Guess-the-Draft-Order Challenge, in which $2.14 was on the line last year and $2.15 this year (no winners yet) comes a new challenge: in this contest, I will personally write a check for 500 cents to the first person who posts the name of a team that finishes the ’15-’16 season at exactly .500 (that’s 41-41, for you aspiring mathletes out there).
I will re-visit this post at the conclusion of the 2015-2016 season to determine the winner.
For your reference, the Milwaukee Bucks were the only team to go 41-41 last year. In 2013-2014, no team would’ve made a contestant $5 richer, and in 2012-2013, the Dallas Mavericks would’ve been the one to bring home the prize.

  I just don’t see how the Knicks have improved enough. No real depth and players either on the downswing (Melo, Afflalo) or a few years away from being a difference maker (Porzingis).

  If more than one person predict a team that does it, I might find 41 cents for that team’s wins and another 41 cents for that team’s losses to award the second or third person to select this team.
